This update has set a new personal record in the amount of time to complete the download. I have a very fast Internet connection and I actually thought my pc had locked up. I actually fell asleep. It finally completed and I was too tired to even try the updates

Probably because of Steam sale. In the first day of Summer sale their servers even stop responding at all. Actual update for me was 900MB, with 8 items.

Nice update. I guess the cars/tracks are not going on sale, only the base game?
Was hoping to pick up some new content...

Do you know until when the summer sale in Steam will last? Tried to find it in their website but couldn't.

Only the new packs are on sale, so if you have some content already, it means you are paying twice. I was hoping for individual discounts to get Le Mans.
