so pretty much only two accidents that happened where driver's head was in danger , halo woudlnt' have helped in those as well .. what's the point then?
Well there's still that Grosjean/Hamilton on top of Alonso incident.
Tho... not sure it would help in that case too. So yeah... guess it's a waste of time. :D
 
WTF? Earlier today I downloaded all the reg pdfs they had linked, the last one was from october 2017. Where is this one linked from if you don't mind me asking? This only has the numbers for the halo mount that the car manufacturer has to provide. It doesn't say anything about the actual halo.

The numbers are for the attachment tests, as they are the weakest link. If forces exceed these numbers the whole secondary roll structure system fails. More on this in the Halo thread ;)
