Use this thread to submit a link to your skin that you would like included within the Retro skinpack - The skinpack will be updated every 2 weeks unless 2 or more skins are added

Some of the cars would not allow the window decals.. etc.. here is the solution..

• Maximum of 1 skin per car per member will be included at any given time. ie you can have 3 skins included providing they are for 3 different retro cars

• Your skin will be removed from the skinpack after 3 months if you have not taken part in a Race 07 Retro event within this time period. This does not mean your skin will not be included again - Just repost your skin here

• Each skin must be in a separate folder if you are uploading on behalf of someone else. Each folder must be named with your name to make my life easier

• Unless your skin matches the below sizes it will not be added - You will need to adjust and re-submit. The reason for this is due to issues that we have had in the past with variation of skin sizes.

Your skin needs to be:
Body: 1,366KB
Windows Int: 513KB
Windows: 342KB - Currently an issue with sizing - I will accept 1,366KB until a fix is released or reviewed if there are issues

Each update will be ready to download on the Friday before the event

Deadline for next update: 12:00GMT - 12th April

hold ive a prob with sizes .. will update

Ext windows wont go below 1.33MB
tried with gimp and Photoshop.
did the same with other skins from race 07 all worked good..
looked at other skins from Retropack on Nogrip all have same problem..

Saved it DXT 5 with mip maps at 6

Addon retro car: extract and copy the GameData and the UIData folder to your Race07 install folder.
The cars will appear in the retro max class in the game.

skin pack produces an error in the log you need to take out of the Gijs van Elderen. ini
driver=
ext_driver=
helmet=

then the error goes away...
made the same mistake many times myself until i worked it out.
only put in there what you have in the folder..
there should be another update soon for the pack with them all corrected..

I made my first skin ever, and would like to include it in the skin pack. Here are some in-game photos of the car, as I said, it is my first skin, so yeah... it sucks.I will get better doing it one day, though.

There's only 2 problems: my windows are default windows because I have no idea how to paint that properly, and the .dds file is 2,66 MB. I don't know how to make it smaller... did this with PhotoShop CS6, exported as DXT5 because that's what I saw in some tutorials. :\

The size of the window file is 1.366KB for the external window and the internal window is 513KB
if you send me the unflattened version of the file i will have a look for you if you want..
these are different to other race 07 file sizes due to the type of mod
for the bmw CLS
chassis is 1.366KB with mipmaps
window is 1.366KB with mipmaps
int window 513KB no mipmaps
