well according to UPS, my new logitech G27 warranty replacement is currently in Tamworth, UK and will be delivered to me on Monday 20th August.

So assuming the delivery van doesn't crash and burn on Monday, I'll be there. Sign me up please :)

I'm out.. Hardly a proper grid.. Hope next race more will sign up..

There is still another day before the race, previous races has seen a few last minute sign ins. It is this attitude which creates low grids in the first place, as well as being pretty disrespectful to RD staff like Stefan who give up their own time for free to organise these events for us.

I mean no disrespect and do appreciate all the hard work that RD staff puts in these events..
But in Monaco we we're with only 4 on the grid also.. I was hoping this time it would be better;-)

I would suggest to run the more basic or well known tracks to get the numbers up until RF2 goes gold. This track for instance is more difficult and thus more time consuming to learn, so could be off putting to drivers.

Previous tracks like Malaysia and Sebring were popular IMO, because they were the short configuration, so easy to learn, and pretty popular tracks as a bonus.

I wonder if it might be worth shortening the race distance for tonight, half hour may be a bit too long for the 3 of us to pound round for? I don't reall mind as I'm gonna be there regardless as I really enjoyed the 5 laps or so I did last night and am happy to drive round by myself if I have to! The track is surprisingly easy to learn, despite being more like a rally stage than a race track!

That said I do agree with Craig; although I love this track I can see why many are put off by the length of the track, while RF2 is in this early stage the more conventional circuit races will be more popular for building solid numbers week in week out. Don't know if RD have been there yet, but Putnam park and botnaring (or however it's spelt) are absolutely superb tracks for Clio racing, quite short with some nice ballsy fast corners.

Bike training is already finished but with only a few sign ups i dont see much room for a race tbh. I hope the club wil gain more racers over time, and i have been reading the last few posts and i also think that short races on tracks we know will benefit the racing club.

rF2 in general is in a weird place at the moment, you just have to look at the numbers in the public server lobby to confirm that.
For me this track is compulsive to drive and lots of fun, maybe its not the best looking but for me it contains little "tributes" to other classic tracks i love so just driving around alone is great, i see little hints of Cadwell....a taste of old Sachsenring, sniffs of Leinz are everywhere and some other tracks as well peek through here and there.
