Yes you can increase the LOD multiplyer for any camera you want. I assume you are talking about your view from the drivers cockpit.

Look for this file "FTruck2013_Cams.cam" in "Formula Truck 2013\Gamedata\Vehicles\FTruck2013"

Code:
LocalCam=COCKPIT
{
  Fov=(50.000000, 50.000000)
  Clear=TRUE
  Color=(164, 218, 249)
  ClipPlanes=(0.075000, 500.000000)
  LODMultiplier=(1.000000)
  Size=(1.000000, 1.000000)
  Center=(0.500000, 0.500000)
  MipmapLODBias=(0.000000)
  Flags1=(0)
  Flags2=(0)
  RadiusLimits=(0.000000, 0.000000)
  OrientationRate=(999.000000, 999.000000, 999.000000)
  PositionOffset=(0.000000, -0.0, 0.0000)
  OrientationOffset=(0.00000, 0.000000, 0.000000)
  Radius=(0.000000)
}

Change LODMultiplier=(1.000000) to LODMultiplier=(2.000000)

Keep in mine you will take a performance hit but if you have the hardware it should be no problem.
Great advice! Thanks a lot. I'll try it out as soon as I get back to my PC.

Just download steam, it's free, and you don't need to have it running all the time or anything. You can even run steam in offline mode where it doesn't connect. If you still worried about security then just disable your internet which takes two seconds - right click the windows logo on the bottom left, select device manager, under network adapters right click and disable. When you want connection again right click and enable, wait a few seconds and you're back online.

I think I might be able to prevent Steam from performing unwanted activity. however I don't see why I should bother at all. I wanted FT on my computer, so I paid for it. I did not ask for any extras, especially those that require me to reconfigure or disable something else on my system. I can see how perhaps it is easier for the owners to distribute the games via Steam, but for me as a customer it is easier and preferable to manage my installations explicitly and without some dodgy "helpers", full stop.

Can anyone help please? I've tried all sorts of settings to get some rumble out of my controller. It would just help provide that extra bit of immersion to this already brilliant fun game. Does it not work or am I just missing out the one configuration that would make it happen?

Never mind, found this thread in the GSCE forum and am assuming rumble just doesn't work at the moment in FT either. Hope it's fixed someday but no rush Reiza :). I know you all have lots of other work to do.

Hi,

Looking for input!

I recently upgraded to v1.25 (steam), and usually edit the rFm scene orders for custom championships. However, there is no rFm file (e.g., reiza1.rfm) in the usual rfm folder. It must exist as when i enter a new championship, Taruma is the first location to load?

Any help to remedy would be greatly appreciated!

Because I am daft I have jumped straight into this game trying to play the championship against Veteran/110% AI. After winning at Taruma and scraping 5th at Londrina (too many tight corners for my liking there), I looked at Caruara's layout as it loaded and expected it to go similarly to Londrina. Nope. Not even close. I'm getting my bottom kicked by 4-5 seconds a lap. I think I could find 1 or 2 of those if I really tried but not all 5. So I was wondering, is it me being slow or is the AI just unusually quick there?
