Real Feel Help...Please!

Maybe it's the fact that I'm getting older, but I can't (for the life of me) figure out how to work this 'RealFeel' mod. After performing my weekly limit of Google searches for 'Installing RealFeel for GTR2 and rFactor', I'm truly at my wits end. I've read all the posts that I can get my hands on and I've read all the readme files that came with the downloaded mod. But I can't seem to find this mysterious 'MaxForceAtSteeringRack' that supposedly is in some .ini file that is created once I jump into a new car?? WTF??

Just a note....I've dropped the RealFeelPlugin.dll file into my rFactor/Plugins folder, configured my G25 profiler to the settings that were recommended in the readme file-but now what the heck do I do? I can't find this 'MaxForceAtSteeringRack' value? I've looked in my rfactor 'users' folder, I've checked the rFactor root directory, I've checked the actual car folders that were just driven....heck, I've even checked under my bed. What am I doing wrong?? I give....I simply give.

There's a general Controller/Config file that I found under the 'Controller' Folder within the root of rfactor....But nothing that says MaxForceAtSteeringRack...unless I'm blind:

I've clicked on the rFactor directory and I see absolutely no RealFeelPlugin folder....the only RealFeel plugin I have in my rFactor file is the .dll file that I dropped into the 'Plugins' folder....I simply can't find it???

I've even jumped into rFactor and drove the BMW Sauber F1 in hopes that this folder would be created after I drove the car (and after I hit L Control Numpad 2).....and nothing. This can't be this hard.

It is not a folder - it is a text file.

Alrighty...Staring at all my files in the rFactor main folder and I simply don't have that text file...What have I done wrong?

When you leave the pits and drive does it say 'RealFeel enabled'? It sure DOESN'T!

There is no RealFeel folder - just a .dll file in your PlugIns folder. I understand...there is no RealFeel Folder, but there is a Plugin Folder and I have the RealFeelPlugin.dll file sitting in it.

Have you disabled Hardware Plugins by accident? Default key is 'G' Nope...just checked. I hit G before I left the pits and made sure HWP was ENABLED....Took two laps in the Sauber F1 and still no .ini file in my root directory. I've even downloaded the RealFeel file from another site...Reinstalled it thinking it may have been corrupt..I have no idea.

Well, I tried everyones suggestions...Downloaded and tried 3 different sites that offered the RealFeel Mod (including the link above)...I did get a step closer, but not quite all the way...
I DID finally get a RealFeel.ini file, but only on ONE car?? I test drove 12 cars to be exact and only the 'Hammer6' settings were found in the RealFeel.ini text document. The F1 Sauber BMW, GT Mustang Saleen, VHR Stockcars, etc, etc were never listed after I turned 2-3 laps in them?? I don't understand??
After downloading from the above link (for the .92 version) I DID actually HEAR some chick say "RealFeel Activated" when I first start up a car (in the garage) and head out onto the track....Never got that before.
...Just wondering why or how I get the rest of these cars to send their settings to the .ini text file. Suggestions? :) Thanks guys, for all your help. Spent so much time trying to get this Mod to work I'm forgetting how to drive. :)

Max as sayed in the other thread try the feelreal mod from Ivo its posted in the RFactor section of RD in a sticky thread
you just need to replace everything in your controler file with what Ivo posted RF has then a realy good ffb with out death zones
around the center position of the wheel and best is you dont need to configurate the realfeel.ini for every car
as the realfeel pluging can couse game crashes too its the better way to go

Feels Real FFB for RF <---- there you go

you will love the feel of it i am sure

Just to add something, I had similar problems with realfeel when installing it with Windows 7. Some other plugins were misfunctioning too. The solution was a new rFactor install outside the PROGRAM FILES(X86) folder. I read that somewhere and tried, all plugins work fine now.
