I mean, I understand the class but no way I can imagine the track or the meaning of the number compared to the lap time

Your print are the default numbers... i think they created that just for defaults... i don't know...
Slide down and you will see the tracks sector laptimes...
print.png

These values are in thousandths.

Let's get Losail for example:

Go to http://www.motogp.com/en/Results+Statistics/

1. Choose the 2015 year, Losail, MotoGP, Q2;
2. Open best partial time pdf file;
3. Replace the section values according to sections:

Original Value -> Real life value (see the pdf file)
SEC1 = 25.633 -> 24.763
SEC2 = 48.366 -> SEC1(24.763) + 29.537 = 54.300
SEC3 = 88.871 ->SEC2(54.300) + 28.112 = 82.412
SEC4 = 115.527 -> SEC3 (82.412) + 31.457 = 113.869

However in this specific circuit the AI is too fast on second sector relative to real life, so is needed to transfer these seconds to the third sector:

SEC1 = 25.633 -> 24.763
SEC2 = 48.366 -> SEC1(24.763) + 29.537 = 54.300 - 48.366 = 5.934 => 48.366
SEC3 = 88.871 ->SEC2(54.300) + 28.112 = 82.412 + 5.934 => 88.346
SEC4 = 115.527 -> SEC3 (82.412) + 31.457 = 113.869

And voilá: FROM 115.527(1:55.527) TO 113.869(1:53.869)

Then we must adjust the AI_DIFFICULTIES to make the AI not reach the ideal times (that mostly is reached by diferent pilots)

Basically is this!

Sachsenring and indianapolis, but its true I always use soft tyres and tyre wear off, so maybe thats the problem
Man... if you add Tyre Wear, you'll must play thinking in the tyres, then you will see how crazy is play in simulation now! :D

I do this, cause there are players who want to play like they are playing against other players, not real life... without tyre wear it's too hard to reach top 10 already!

Other thing that i was thinking is about differences between the bikes: sometimes i wonder if the Pramac 14.2, for example, is a weak bike or the pilot on it in real life that not good? For that angle, maybe a pilot like Stoner could get a sixth place with this bike? So if YOU are a good player, you can get this place with that bike too... understand what i mean?

Man, thanks a lot!
And how can I edit the file with your program? There is no SAVE button anywhere
I made it only to read... to edit you'll need the hex editor...
These HEX values behind the variable is the position in file... i don't know what you use, i use XVI32. In this program, you selects "Go to adress (CTRL+g)" and puts that HEX value, and they should go to the exactly point of that variable in the BML file...

Yeah I get it..also it's hard to make amod that suits everyone coz we are on different skills level.

Anyway there is really a thing that is driving me crazy. where the f*** can I get the readBML tool you coded. I remember you posted the link but I cannot find it in the other dicussions.
I'm getting seriously crazy. HELP
EDIT
I found it, if anyone is looking for it:

I'm tweaking the DB file to match perfectly my sector lap times for motogp and moto3: I need to set lap_time_generator to 0.998 to have the same lap time in game but it's perfect!
In race the AI goes incredibly slow: i mean 3s slower than the previous race pace.
The only way is to set race_time_generator to 1.030.
Any idea?

I think that i know what you mean...

Real life: QP => 1:39.364 / RC => 1:40.236
Game hard: QP => 1:39.364 / RC => 1:38.894 (LOL)
Game simul: QP => 1:38.946 / RC => 1:38.590 (LOL)

The best workaround that i can imagine is calibrate the dificulties for each class... for example: Easy = Moto3 realistic AI, Medium = Moto2 realistic and Hard = MotoGP realistic AI...

No I explained bad: I mean every Q lap is ok, but race pace is too slow for the AI on race_time_generator set to 1.000

I tweaked some tracks too:
Sachsenring, Indianapolis, Silverstone, Brno, Misano

Times are supposed to make it challenging (I'm testing with pramac GP 14.2)

I have an idea: I'll share with you a Google Sheet document in which you can read mine lap times as I add it and you can add yours.
And we can share on the Google Drive the DB file as we complete it.
It makes the job easier for us.

I can't edit it it's an image

P.S. In real life riders in quali are much faster than in race, because they make a lap on the limit, which you cannot do every lap in race.

In fact, in race you have to be consistent and comfortable with your laps. You can push at the limit but for just 1-2 laps.

In sachsenring AI pole is 1.20.3 and Race pace of AI is the same, so I tweaked it to AI pole 1.19 low
Same for BRNO (1.53 while before it was 1.54 also adjusted sector times to make it balanced), Indianapolis (just a little bit, mainly sector balance tweaks).

In Misano I had to slow AI qual time because it was a little too fast for me. Again, I'm making tweaks based on my speed with Pramac GP 14.2 and Default settings.

I don't know if with a M1 these times will be wrong, too slow or too fast..I hope it will work fine

Yeah, better than nothing.
The real issue with this game is the AI gain or loss an entire second in one single sector
I won't edit the file cause it might cause trouble, but here is my settings

I should have edited more tracks but to be honest I don't remember it anymore, I have to check.

keep in mind that some of these values have never been tested.

@Jonix, did you put the ideal sections lap times of the motogp site or according to your skills?
According to my skills.

I changed the lap time target and then adjusted each sector. For example in aragon with default sectors I was +6 seconds at S3 and then +1.5 at S4 lmao

P.S. there is a problem with your mod, physics is the same in the wet.

I make the same lap times while AI goes slower, can you fix it?
