Read emails from various Gmail accounts

Is there an app or extension available that does a similar thing as Outlook but then for Gmail.

I am currently using various gmail addresses (including the RD mail) and as I absolutely don't enjoy Outlook anymore I would like to use something else (web based) where i can have an overview of all my incoming emails.

I'm not sure about "app or extension", but I use Mozilla Thunderbird for 5 different accounts (both gmail, hotmail, work etc...). Works like a charm.

My solution would be to simply forward everything to one Gmail address, and add labels to it if needed.

In Thunderbird you click File->New->"Add existing email"
Then just type your email adress and password and it does the rest.
