In a bid to provide a bit more transparency into the decisions made by the RDRC team, to make it easier to understand and easier to look up in the future. This thread will give a bit more insight to the reasoning behind different penalties and decisions affecting rallies.

Examples of what you might find in this thread is
  • Cancellations/postponing of rallies, and why.
  • Disqualifications/Penalties, and why.
  • Rule Changes, and why.
  • Protests - and the decisions.

Round 1 - Jänner Rallye!

Drivers: @Alec Brown @Tamas Timar @Goran Asad @Gabor Tim @TopSpudGun @Aidan Keranen @Rhys Gardiner @Dany Five
Penalty: Disqualification from Round 1 + 4 Penalty points.
Reason: Breach of Rule 13.1
Note: All drivers must remember to send in replays within the end of the week of the last session. (Sunday 23:59) to avoid being disqualified. All drivers penalized are now one DSQ away from being unable to compete for points.

If you feel that a decision is wrong, that we in the RDRC-crew have missed something you are free to appeal within 48 hours of this post.
Do note that due to time constraint, we do not like appeals with no proper reasoning, and an appeal might in rare cases lead to a more severe penalty!
Appeals are sent on PM to Ole Marius Myrvold <- Click name to go straight to Personal Message.

Replay Check Jänner Rallye

From the provisional results. We picked 5 drivers to go closely into the replays of. Those drivers was picked by random.org, and the number represented finishing position in the rally.
Drives Picked: Jon Grainger, Alex Albernaz, Daniel Monteiro, Karl Raudsepp and Sandro Pinho.
All drivers came out clean in our check. All stage-replays included, no cutting that leads to penalties, and no other suspicious driving. Congrats! :)

General Information!

Can all new drivers, and "old" drivers that did not participate in the first rally, please check that they RSRBR name, is an exact match to what's been written in the Sign-Up Thread. Every single difference (can be as little as a space, or a small letter instead of a capital letter), will mean that it will not be picked up in the results. And will add unnecessary work for the admins.

@TTupsi @Øyvind Andersen @Tommi Ojala is one disqualification away from being unable to score more points.

Round 5

Nothing new here, I suddenly realized that Round 3 and 4 was gone, as I had clicked "edit" on that post, and managed to post the info for round 5 into that. Luckily, we moderators have a "revert" function on this forum, so I reverted to the old version, and posted round 5 as it should've been posted. Sorry if this caused any confusion.
