The World's motoring press met today at Paris, France for the official presentation of the Citroên RB World Rally Team that will compete in the fourth season of the Race Department Rally Championship in 2012.

Many well know personalities were present in the event such as the director of Citroën Sport and many RDRC drivers.

Team director Olivier Quesnel who used be the director of Citroën's official WRC team and now directs Citroên RB World Rally Team was also there to unveil the team's car for this season, he also said some words:
l am very happy to be here and present you the team! I will be the team director for this season, after leaving Citroën Total WRT I got contacted by MDSport and the Richard Burns foundation, they offered me to be their team principal and, offcourse I accepted! We are expecting to have a very exciting season! We have factory support, a great team of experienced mechanics and engineers and for sure, two great talented young drivers!

We called the team Citroên RB World Rally Team to honor the 2001 World Rally Champion: Richard Burns, he taught our drivers a lot of things, but he sadly had to go in 2005, he is fondly remembered by everyone in the team and by the community.

We will participate in all of this year's RDRC events and we will do our best to achieve our goal: win the championship our car is a proven winner in every surface and condition: the Citroën C4 WRC

With some of my experience and these great drivers I think we can have a great season! We are very excited to start the season!

He then proceeded to show the car to everyone:

And then, the drivers were presented. For this season, two drivers are going to represent the team trough the whole season, they are :

Manuel De Samaniego .- Representing Mexico

And Manuel gave his oppinion about the team

Just less than a week ago I was looking for a team mate to compete this season in my team: Citroên MS World Rally Team but then i got a message from Fernando talking about joining the team and changing some things, especially to change the team's name to Citroên RB World Rally Team to honor the great Richard Burns, I thought it was a great idea and then, the team was founded! I think that we have the potential to go very fast and hopefully win some rounds, it feels great to be in a team full of nice people. I think we can learn a lot this season.

Last season, I arrived to the championship when there were only 3 rounds remaining, so i had no posibilites to become champion, even if i won all of the events, luckily I could win the last 2 events and that is a great motivation to begin season 4, I look forward to start the season with a nice result and turn those 2 wins into 3! That'd be awesome!

Also, look out for the team during the season, we have some surprises!

It took me a lot of time to take and put every picture in place and a lot of effort for the presentation and this is the right tread for pictures as Rick said. It's just a waste of time if I put them and you edit them, If you put links they have to click on the links to see them and they can't see the images. It's nonsense, just ruind the presentation ;)

In a behind the scenes presentation the media awaits as TTF Racing unveil the news. That they will be entering in the RDRC in the new reformed production class in the RDRC, under the name of Subaru TTFR World Rally Team. This season the team will be running the Subaru Impreza N14 prodrive. Driving the car will be.

The season is currently in full swing as both drivers can't wait to get the season started.

Tyrone Frith "This season is looking like it's going to turn into a classic. And i think the fans will enjoy all the rallying action this season. I am happy to be in the car that i started my rallying career here at repartment, but it's the first time in the prodrive spec car. I have a teammate for the first time in shape of Roy. It's going to be a challenge because we both want to do well for the team as well as beat each other. So i can't wait to the first round."

Head to www.ttfracing.co.cc for all the rallying action. (the page is currently down and we are working our hardest to get it up and running soon.)

Again a big Thanks to Jack Hintz for his help on the skins for the car.

By the way, does anyone know how to pause the replays and still see the full screen without the menu? Or how to freeze the picture? Because taking a screenshot on the run does not provide amazing results as you can see in these pictures.

Congratulations Fernando, Nigel and Jeff!
