Great Rally by me. Most of the stages are close to perfect. On few stages I had run Personal Best, on some stages i could beat my WRC 03' times:whistling::rolleyes:

I had a little spun on Stage 7, and on falstone i guess. I lost 5-10 seconds each with these silly moves.

On Autiovaara i lost 15 seconds because of my double stabbed Rittberger (or how its called in english:D) I had a luck with this, i felt on my wheels, nothing damaged and i continued the stage.

That. Went. Terribly.

I'm to tired for the usual report tonight sorry, hard few weeks at work taking their toll!

SS1 - went as well as expected really don't like the stage, way to unpredictable
SS2 - For some reason the game skipped it and went straight to SS3! I got a penalty for something?
SS3 - retired because of wrong setup causing me to crash... getting annoyed already
SS4 - Better got a good rhythm on an old fave. Had a big moment on 2 wheels which almost cost me a lot but thankfully not
SS5 - Again went OK, roll about 100m from the end but no biggie(!)
SS6 - Went well no mistakes decent time
SS7 - Very happy, getting into the groove and setting better times. I can see where I loose time to others, but I just don't have the bottle!
SS8 - Lost the groove, slammed the Civic into a bridge
SS9 - Another DNF
SS10 - Went Ok, quite enjoy that stage.
SS11 - Going well until another DNF
SS12 - Retired...
SS13 - I still hate this stage. Retired
SS14 - Pushing 1000% and inevitabaly retired. No surprise

So all in all very poor night, no practice and very tired makes a baad combination!

Thanks to all for their effort and well done to all who competed!

Now that was quite a difficult rally. Somehow I wasn´t happy at all with how the car felt on most of the stages so I was just cautious making sure I finish all stages. I though Gravel would make it better for me, but judging from this I have to say snow was my favorite surface so far.

SS1 - this stages was almost impossible while testing, this was my first reasonably clean run, no damage.

SS2 - was looking forward to this as in testing i had really good confidence here, all that confidence was gone though when i had to throw the car into the first corner, still a PB which surprised me really.

SS3 - another stage that went well in testing, but I made a really dumb mistake and rolled the car, luckely I didn´t hit any objects so damage wasn´t to bad.

SS4 - one of the stages from my grading event so was hoping for a good time, afterall I was about 7s slower I think.

SS5 - i really hate these Australia stages, don´t know why, and I was immediatly remembered as I slid wide in the first tight corner. Managed it through with only a spin, no damage, happy with that.

SS6 - quite a nice stage (even though it has these wooden fences which are awful, and of course i tapped them once lightly), only tried it once in testing, but the time I got now wasn´t to bad.

SS7 - nothing special really, didn´t test this stage due to limited time as I thougth I knew it well enough from the original game, not a very fast run, but no damage.

SS8 - another stage I didn´t test, although this time everything went quite well and I had a decent time.

SS9 - very nice stage, really enjoyed driving there, apart from a few tight corners that snuk up on me it went well.

SS10 - one of the stages where the car felt really bad, felt like on ice in some corners, but the time seemed surprisingly fast compared to others in my session.

SS11 - another Australian stage, went ok as i was very cautious (didn´t even lift off at the jump)

SS12 - these finnish stages seem a bit weird in other conditions then snow, but was still fun to drive with all these fast flowing corners.

SS13 - reversing a stage, doesn´t make it better :p pushed my luck quite far and got close to a CFH twice as i just missed some spectators

SS14 - tested this stage the most of all (5 runs) because I wanted to do good there, but all these 5 runs ended about halfway through, so I decided to go cautious and slow. In the end the time seemed pretty good though so looking forward to see if it was enough for points.

It was nice having some close battles in this session, Jonathan, Thomas and me were quite close on many stages. Makes everything a bit more interesting if you can compare yourself to other drivers close to your own speed.

Unfortunately it wasn't a penalty. You took too much time before starting the stage (changing setup) or during the stage so you didn't make it on time to start the next one. Hate that.
Yeah the first 2 (or even 3) stages were very close together so that I always got thecountdown timer on the Go button by the time I finished the stage and saved my replay.

I hear you! Same thing for me and I drive a WRC car. My favorite surface so far was tarmac, despite I didn't do well on the last rally.

Yeah the first 2 (or even 3) stages were very close together so that I always got the countdown timer on the Go button by the time I finished the stage and saved my replay.

I was on time before the very last minute countdown, but it wasn't fair for drivers in slower classes, especially on 2WD cars.

Well this was a first: drove the rally with no sound while talking on skype.

Hehe.... Skipping Rally School in ss2 also happened to me, even though i always run with default setup, so i just took a loooong time.

This championship has not been on the right schedule for me at all, but I decided that I have skipped enough rounds so I tried to do this one, whatever the cost!

I think i will join the 2WD group for the summer season in an Escort or an R1 car, just so I KNOW i will never be close to win anything and just have fun (and not feel bad by missing a round)

Thanks to the organisers once again, the stages were really nice!

Gutted for you Sion; I was hoping for another duel! I've been lurking the champion forum and Magnar has not failed to shock and awe me with his times. I didn't sign up on purpose so that I wouldn't interfere with the championship like last year.

No detailed report. Not the best rally but I had some good performances. My stage 14 run was the my highlight of the weekend and possibly my best competition performance to date. I pushed hard, catious in some places but I couldn't have done much better so I have no regrets
Again, awe inspiring time from Magnar on that stage.

Thanks to Jack and Ole who are doing a fine job. Liked the stage choice.

Good job all. Hope I can duel you again Sion!

Here is the report from the Sweed that was hoping for good time but ended up doing a few misstakes and two extremely big one.......

SS1 - Rally Poland:

I knew going into this stage that I was consistent, I have been doing almost the exact same stage time during practice and had good notes for it.

I asked Johan to read the notes as quickly as he dared so that I could go as quickly as I could and to be sure to put extra notation to let me hear the Caution noteations I had at 2 places on the stage.

He did a brilliant job while I made a couple of small misstakes but still a stage win, I'll grab that with open arms and again, on a night/dusk stage, I think I like them more and more :D

SS2 - Rally School:

Made a few small misstakes and was overly cautious on the Fords (water streams) so didn't get a very good time in but apparently allright.

SERVICE

SS3 - Shepherds Shield:

One of the best stages of the rally and what a flop (went a lot worse than it should) of a run it was for me.

Even with Johan on full attack with the notes and me driving as quickly as I could I made a few small misstakes that I am not proud of. After the stage I remember thinking "I'm not happy with that, not good, not good at all" and I was right timing whise compared to everyone else.....

SS4 - Falstone:

I think we did allright, a couple small misstakes but still kept the speed up so Magnar must have been absolutely on fire on this stage, an amazing time!

This stage I will make a vid of as it shows my driving style to the fullest. I was on the edge of cutting all through the stage almost going to wide and rolling it twice (I know this because I rolled it where I went wide before) and Johan said something like "That was one hell of a stage, well done. Just take it a bit easier so we know we finish, allright?". Looking at the stages to come I should have listened....

SS5 - East-West:

I had a very good recce on this stage before the event but I had been writing the notes a bit wrongly so I was going slower than I should have due to not trusting the notes after almost hitting a tree early and then hitting a bank almost rolling the car.

A very safe run through and not a good time but I'll take it, didn't loose too much time...

SERVICE

SS6 - The W:

Looks like my setup wasn't optimal. I was spinning my wheels a bit too much not being able to get the power to the gravel up the hills at the beginning of the stage but a fairly good time non the less but still work to do to the car to make it go up the hills better...

SS7 - Chirdonhead:

Too many crashes in practice for the event made me far to cautious on many parts of the stage so not a good one. Was hopeful but couldn't go at the pace I wanted due to being scared of rolling it....

SS8 - Harwood Forest II:

Going into the stage I know that I was not going to get a good time in but non the less told Johan to read the notes to me as quickly as possible.

It ended about 400 meters into the stage when I didnt hear a 3 right and went flying off in 4th gear hard on the brakes just about avoiding a colossal stone...

Kept powering on and this ended in a roll I we had as well and the windshield cracked so was pretty much driving blind for 75% of the stage so the time was, considering this, allright....

SERVICE

SS9 - Sipirkakim:

Not happy with my driving.

One understeer off loosing around 10 seconds and then a couple of offs into the scenery that didn't loose us more than a couple of seconds....

SS10 - Canyon:

The worst stage of the rally. Never good at this stage so was on a conservative run only wanting to make sure to finish the stage.

SERVICE

SS11 - Mineshaft II:

This stage I was hopefull for as it is a good stage for me...

Was pushing a bit too hard and then coming powering through in 4th gear in the Alfa and around 110 KPH the rear end got loose over a slight crest and I just about clipped a banking and rolled it into a tree and the stage was over.

I was less than 30 seconds from the finish of the stage so not happy with that misstake but as I was going for the win on the stage I knew that I would either crash or win the stage, it ended in a crash in a spectacular style.

Johan did a great job here so all good, just me making that slight misstake there.

SS12 - Autiovaara:

Oh dear.....

Another one of those many small misstakes slowing us down, this was also only me making the misstakes trying a bit too hard not using the flow of the stage to an advantage but instead as a dissadvantage.

SS13 - Rally Poland R:

Hmmmm...... Why didn't I see the R during all the practice I did looking at the stages....

Was listening to the notes Johan was reading to me and had 2 spins before Johan said "You've got the wrong notes for me. You have to drive blind and on feel".

So I was simply driving blind after those 2 spins and managed to crawl home in a very bad time.... That was a misstake that I shouldn't have done :(

SERVICE

SS14 - Humualamaki:

Another full power run trying to get a good time in but got sideways over one of the many crests where the car goes light and a well placed stone hurt the car. The publicum helped us back on the road as we got stuck on top of the stone and a bad time was what we got...

Not a good run in our home rally but it was still fun on the stages that went with almost no misstakes :)

Cheers and see you all next time.
