Thommo, I have forgotten how to put stickers on the windows file and make them solid. Right now they are so transparent you can barely see them.

I've tried creating the new layer in between all the existing layers, I've tried saving in DXT5 with interpolated alpha, I've even tried saving the DDS file, then openning it and adding the stickers directly to the DDS and saved it again lol. I can see them but they are extremely transparent.

As per the conversation on TS:

1. you place the stickers where you want them, on a new layer on top of the Windows layer stack for ease of selection,
2. select them using the magic wand
3. change from layers to channels in the palette/dock
4. hide the RGB channels,
5. show the Alpha Channel
6. paint the selection (which should still be showing) in WHITE on the Alpha Channel.

The Alpha channel defines transparency, Black being totally transparent, white being totally opaque. What you are doing is defining the window stickers to be totally opaque while the rest of the window remains transparent. That way, they stand out more and don't apear like colour tints on the windows.

Glad to see I'm not the only fan of black & yellow. All my cars for the last 3 or 4 seasons have been black & yellow. Looks great!! I might have to borrow it from you after the season is over so I can take it for a spin.

As it was working progress I tried to hide the finished colours. But it will be a dark purple and a dove grey, but the damn thing shines so much. In gimp it looks almost black.. I think i got carried away giving it a buff..
