Hi, My team mate was last seen disappearing down a ravine in Mote Carlo, so I'm wondering if it's possible to leave the team and start a new one? if so, since all the point the team has acquired are by myself, would they carry over to the new team?

The points scored stays with the team that scored the points. Actually, by looking at the rules, we have not covered the 'what if' in the situation where the team leader fail to show up, I guess we've just figured that the remaining driver will get another guy in to the team.
We'll take a little discussion on this in the crew, then come back to you. Hopefully that's ok?

You can make a team with 1 person, but unless your team has exactly 2 people you won't be scoring any team points. (So essentially, yes, you need 2 people.)

@Evilsmurf You can get another driver in to the team you are in now, that way you keep the scored points. If you change name and so on, it'll be a new team and your previously scored points will stay with "Reid Sim Racing".

Thanks for clearing that up

If you could, just remove me from "Reid Sim Racing" I'll run solo for the rest of the season and make my own team next time
