My bad for causing that crash going into Luffield on the first lap ... New I couldn't make the inside line and tried braking a little earlier, hadn't realised I was so far over on the curb/grass. Lock-up and spin, sorry to Evan and Marco

Not sure whether to post this in the Race One thread or here but I'm just curious about the skin issues we were experiencing last night.

Obviously I'd spent quite a bit of time on doing the colour scheme for my car and Craig's so it would be nice to get it working!

Can any of you confirm for me if you could see Craig's Martini car in the game? It seems odd as I could see it in game and on the server and in theory the car is fine as it's featured in the promo video.

There's nothing unusual about the skin, it's 2k in size. I did save it at the higher level of quality in the saving options (which results in a larger file) so could that be it? 8.8.8.8 ARGB 32BPP Unsigned.

The mechanics race suits don't seem to get copied across to server games. My guess is that the game uses a default race suit skin and that's it.

Thanks Paul, I'll let Craig get back to me when he's signed into the practise server. Maybe some feedback on there will confirm if it was a simple glitch or something I need to sort out. It was odd though that I could see it.

The custom skins are all handled locally, so it must be a problem with installing the skin pack. I'm gonna upload an updated version of the skin pack in a few days, which may or may not fix the problems.

No time penalties have been applied after determining that exceeding track limits was never done with any malicious intent. Additionally, the time gain from running over a white line is negligeable, if not harmful in this combo.
