RD_Sebring v1.10 is in the RD Workshop for offline testing:

Things done:
- DX11 Update By MonSum: Public version will come soon, don't share the RD Sebring version.
- T1 Killer curb fixed.
- Pit exit posts and T16 post are non-collidable

Any issues please report ASAP.

Edit: If some wants to take a nice screenshot for the loadingscreen.
Thank you very much for the update mate! :D

To reiterate what Gijs has already said, could drivers please report any issues with this updated version - v1.10 - of the track as soon as possible, as we would like to release the component files and update the servers at least 2 weeks prior to the race.

Also, it would be much appreciated if somebody can provide us with a screenshot or two for the track's loading screen!

IMPORTANT!

The entry list for Season 7 of the RDLMS powered by Vesaro is now CLOSED! I would like to take this opportunity to thank the teams and drivers for being part of this incredible series, which, after an unintentionally long hiatus, has returned stronger than ever! We hope to see you all on track again next year to help us grow the league even further, and to make it even more competitive and exhilarating!

Please note, however, that you are still able to make changes to your driver line-ups until 24 hours before the event; details about additions and removals should continue to be submitted to this thread using the "driver change" template provided below (and in the opening post).

IMPORTANT!

Apologies for the delay, however I am glad to finally announce that the maintenance has now been completed.

The custom version of Sebring International Raceway - v1.03 - is now ready and has been released for Round 6 of the RDLMS powered by Vesaro. Thanks to feedback that we have received over the past few weeks, regarding the original version of the mod which has been available on the RDLMS servers, our track development team has been busy applying bug fixes and improvements so that the circuit is suitable for league use by the RDLMS. One of the most significant changes that has been made is to the track level, in certain areas, to resolve the long-standing curb collision issue. Furthermore, posts / cones have been converted to non-collidable objects because they were previously causing (unintentional and irreparable) damage upon contact. Finally, the track mod has also been updated by the original developer, 'Monsum' at 'Virtua_LM', to fix other minor bugs and introduce DX11 compatibility.

We would like to ask you to ensure that this version of the track remains private. The component must not be made publicly available to or shared with anyone outside RaceDepartment - only Premium Members are permitted to access the server and resource. Anybody who is found to have distributed or utilised this mod without prior permission, except for the RDLMS or personal use, shall face disciplinary action - this may include expulsion from the league, and a potential ban from RaceDepartment. Thank you for your cooperation.

In addition we have release an updated version - v6.0 - of the custom car / skin pack. This contains all of the submissions that have been received and processed to date, and all of the liveries for Round 6 of the RDLMS powered by Vesaro.

If you have already subscribed to the private Steam Workshop group - see here for more information - then the updated resources will be automatically downloaded when you open the Steam client (you shall need to close rFactor 2, including the Launcher, first / before you log in to the server else the process to retrieve updates from the Workshop will not commence). If you have not yet subscribed to the private Workshop group then you may do so by following these instructions. Alternatively the resources can be automatically downloaded and installed via GetMod, when you login to the official RaceDepartment servers for the RDLMS (RACEDEPARTMENT.COM LMS R6 or RACEDEPARTMENT.COM LMS DRY). The component files can also be acquired manually, via direct download links in the General Information thread, and also the event thread (Round 6: Thrustmaster 6 Hours of Sebring). If you experience any issues with accessing the updated files then please inform us as soon as possible so that we can investigate and rectify any problems.

The Thrustmaster 6 Hours of Sebring is the final event of the season, and now only a little over 2 weeks away. As "daylight saving time" has now either ended or started for most of us, please note that the session and race start times have been adjusted accordingly to take this into consideration. Therefore Official Practice shall commence at 12:00 GMT, GT Qualifying at 12:40 GMT and Prototype Qualifying at 13:15 GMT, before the green flag is waved and the Race begins at approximately 14:00 GMT, on Saturday 18th November. Most of you will probably find that following the adjustment the event will start and end for you at the same times as before the time change. More information can be found here, and the schedule has also been included at the bottom of this post. And of course we will once again provide a live stream, including commentary, which shall be available throughout the race.

I will also take this opportunity to remind all teams that qualifying at Sebring will take place at night so that you can suitably prepare for this session well in advance of the event.

Regarding any questions about which rFactor 2 build shall be used for this event - v1108 or v1109 - a definite decision shall be made and announced next week once we have been able to conduct more testing, and potentially find workarounds for known issues.

Finally I would like to once again thank all of the participants and staff members for being part of this amazing season. Following an unexpectedly long hiatus, the RDLMS has returned stronger than ever for its seventh iteration, and with a clear aim to satisfy a desire for endurance sim-racing! We hope to see you all on track again next year to help us grow the league even further, and to make it even more competitive and exhilarating! In the meantime, best of luck to all teams with testing and training, and we look forward to seeing you for Round 6 of the RDLMS powered by Vesaro on Saturday 18th November.

ANNOUNCEMENT

Please note that due to the updates that have been made to the track mod the surface will initially be "green", and the rubber / grip levels will need to be built up again; the AutoSave file will, from this point, store and restore the road conditions. Also due to the update, previous 'best lap time' information is no longer available on the live timing screens; it is possible to see these times by looking at 'Driver best laps' and setting "From Date" to 2017-10-16 (and press "Refresh Data"). Any new fastest lap times will be visible on the live timing screens.

Hey!

Is there any official statement on why are we using Sebring version with a wall on Gendebien Bend?
Last Wednesday when we were taking the first training at the track the version on the track was the 12H one, without the wall, which, in my opinion might be safer for a 6 hour.

Thanks in advance for your reply.

Adding to it, it also narrows the track entering the corner for the backstraight. The game gives you a cut track if you use the area that the wall "prevents" you anyway. So I definitely vote for the no wall version, as it adds a escape route if needed.

I will give some screenshots on the "narrowing" later on.

Edit: here it is, still about more than a tire left until we exceed rule limits.
