Big congrats to my man @Slalom823. I wish we had a bit more of on-track battles, but I'll always remember how I would watch you not pitting for tyres when everyone else would, thinking that we were on the same strategy, over and over. Ultimately, I'm glad the title is yours, you showed that remaining calm and thoughful behind the wheel of these cars was the way to go. I'm always happy when a gentleman driver gets the crown.

Of course, congrats to everyone else involved this season, as we all know rF2 can be extremely tricky to fiddle with, so thanks @Lorenzo Bonder @Joseph Wright @Ole Marius Myrvold @Daniel Trapp @Christian Moreau for your time, and as always, the man in the shadows of the cameras, @Davy Vandevenne. Sorry if I'm forgetting anyone else. Hope these cars will remain loved, regardless of the way some events turned out to be this season.

I hope I am wrong and that I am missing something in how the points are calculated. However just as I wouldn't want to miss out on the title for a possible error, I wouldn't want Charles to miss out either. My confusion is in Charles points. With the now 5 point bonus for round three 182 points is the same number I come up with for myself, however I am not sure I am getting the same numbers for Charles. I am coming up with 175 points for him if he doesn't get points for Indy, OR I am getting 185 points if he gets points for Indy. I believe the difference is that I am seeing that he got 1st, then 3rd, (then 2nd at round three not 3rd), then 2nd at round 4. It looks like he is listed as third for round 3, but the results page shows 2nd.

So am I missing something ( I hope! ) or should he win? Once again I think you have him scored with ten points for the absent round too, but I cannot tell. Maybe Bram can shed light on that part.

Sorry Joseph for the extra work! I do hope I am mistaken, but if not I would rather be honest and have it corrected. @Chark If I am wrong sorry to drag you back on the roller coaster!

If you are taking the results from the Live Timing page that is WRONG. Because the race was ended short, some people ESC'd before others, changing the result order. All of the results from race three were taken from the Replay. he finished in 3rd position at round 3

Oh wow, I won. Wow. Sorry @Chark for extending the emotional roller coaster. Thank you @Joseph Wright for not only picking up the rest of the season and diving head first into everything, but then even afterwards being willing to answer my questions and clarify everything. I wouldn't have felt right or would have always questioned it otherwise, so THANK YOU!!

Wow, I mean I know I got lucky and was at the right place at the right time, and Charles did an outstanding job, but I am quite happy to take the win!! Big thanks to everyone that helped @Joseph Wright @Ole Marius Myrvold @Daniel Trapp@Christian Moreau @Davy Vandevenne @Lorenzo Bonder. Thank you all for all the time and effort put into things.

Also a huge thanks to @Tim O'Glock who started working with me prior to the season to help improve my driving and setup work, as well as Ross Bentley (who used to race Indycar) from www.speedsecrets.com and taking his online speed secrets 101 and especially his inner speed secrets 201 course. Now that the season is over I highly recommend those to the serious racers. What an exciting and surprising end of the season for me. I came into the season with the goal of winning, but after some bad decisions, bad luck, and some computer issues I never thought it would actually happen. What a great two weeks, my son was just born, and now I somehow won the season! Thank you everyone!

Thank you Charles, I really do take that as a great compliment! I have a feeling that we will get the chance to fight side by side on track again at some point and I do look forward to it.
