Still have no clue why quality is so crappy. It doesn't matter if I cap with shadowplay or fraps/afterburner, results are the same. I've tried many different settings with different software (handbrake, VSDC free video editor, Avidemux). Do people force any antialiasing or any other settings in video card drivers before they cap? That's about the only thing I haven't tried.

Edit: For comparison, here's a Dirt Rally video I did last week. Same settings, except I used a higher (lower quality) quantizer value. Both were captured with shadowplay, then slightly edited in VSDC. The best quality I've gotten so far is capturing with Afterburner at 960x540 and then upscaling it to 1280x720 and compressing in VSDC. The overall quality isn't great, but it's at least consistent. It doesn't turn into a mosaic every 3-4 seconds like my videos above.

And here's a capture from shadowplay. No editing/compressing, just capped and uploaded.

Even this untouched shadowplay clip has the problem of every few seconds the picture gets all blocky. But shadowplay caps don't have this problem with Dirt Rally. :|
And for both of these clips I used 8x AA (in nvidia panel), I haven't noticed a difference.
