RBR HDR plugin

The HDR plugin is a plugin that adds a bloomeffect to RBR, coupled with customisable saturation and contrast, shadows and colours... It can do alot, if you have the patience. It also seems to be different on each pc because of different graphic cards monitors, etc...

But it's worth the look if you want to refresh the pale colours, and with maybe too less depth, of the default image.

http://boris-vorontsov.narod.ru/enbseries_gtasa_v0074e.zip

In the rar comes the file with some premade examples. I don't like all of them. But also in the file comes a reading doc that explains every parameter in detail and helps you out already good enough.

I'm at the point now that i'm almost satisfied with the look, still need to check some stuff but i love the overall depth it now has. Sometimes it feels a bit too dark but it's always when i ride into shadow parts so...
Take a look:

And here are my settings, i must warn that in some cars the windows will look a bit too dark from the inside out. Lucky for me i race with bonnet cams mostly :)

No not a batch file, it's somewhere in the settings you can change that i posted above, something that you can put on 0 or 1, wait a minute, what was it again...

Edit: it's use effect, put that on 1 and the whole menu effects is on from the get go. And in the menu effects are all the stuff prelinked that are more explained under it in the submenus.

It's best to see the whole settings page as a tree. Where at the top it all comes together and towards the bottom it all gets more detailed menus of the ones above.

lol, maybe too much explanation here for such a simple thing. O if i only know some harder words in english that i reall could say it in one sentence... :)

This is my enbseries settings, it's a little more brighter in the dark area, and i changed a few other thing. Try it if you want :

Download the zip i posted in the first post of this thread, read instructions carefully and it should normally be placed in the main RBR folder were all the other Dll files already are.

But read the instructions carefully, because i think there were 2 files in there you can choose to use. You should be fine :)

Hmmm, strange though. But as i recall, every pc seems to react diff on this file. My new pc needs actually some tuning now too with the file. I got it just wright for me on my old one. But yeah, check if it could be it is with the plugin instead of without it. Or start reading the what it all stands for and manipulate it a bit yrself, don't forget to back up eh, incase. :)

Btw, there are already numerous changes here in this thread on my file. Try them all, maybe there's a better one out there. But for the underwater effect, lol, i don't have it.

cheers for the reply bert.
Its only after activating the plug in. Prior to activating its fine, thats why i`m guessing something may just need a "tweak" :jump:

got some really weird results with the original file.

I re-downloaded the file from this link i`ve found:
http://www.bhmotorsports.com/board/viewtopic.php?t=46159

This also gave me the RBRdll.cfg file aswell as the dx9 to replace.

I inported the guys .ini info and i`ve got to admit, the colours look amazing and work with no blurring on my gx2 with 24" monitor.

The only difference seems to be it doesn`t need the shift f12 to activate and mentions GTA in the top left whereas before it just said the developers name.

I`m going to tweak the brightness of the sky but it looks lovely with this now.

Thank you all for your help and mabe try from this other link, certanly works excellently for me,

Thanks again,
ollie

cool Ollie. Np!

I wouldn't worry about the Shift F12, somewhere in this thread here i explained it already how you can manipulate this. With you it's on auto on, but you still can put it on off by pressing shift F12. :)

hi guys ive just installed this mod and I dont know where the file is located that you making changes to...and when I put it in main RBR I cant see it unless its not named rhd mod as its listed on D/L page in otherwords im stuffed haha
I might just do a fresh install as it looks quite messey in the main RBR file or is that normal ??
sorry but I am noob to RBR so any info would be great
