Our next Rally is open for sign-up.

WARNING: This rally may be hazardous to your Health, Sense of Humour, Self Control, or Sanity.

This week we have the ultimate RBR Challenge, an extreme rally based on a proposal from Norman Biscuits. I had no idea Norman was so evil :ghost: , but it should be "interesting". This will be the most difficult rally we have held, so careful driving will be essential to avoid a "last man standing" result.

BTW, this is not a sign that we are opting for really difficult rallys in future, but we thought it a good idea to throw in a tough one occasionally.

First up, we are using Realistic Damage.

We are using the WRC 09 Rally Cars, 4WD and powerful, so take care with the right foot.
Stages are highly varied, spanning many countries, and weather conditions are quite severe in some cases. Stages also cover a wide range of surfaces too.

DRIVER BRIEFING NOTES:

1. These are very fast cars, on very difficult stages, so great care will be needed to survive. Car handling and patience is the key, not outright speed.

2. RBR Pacenotes are designed for default cars, Normal conditions and Good weather. Please remember to adjust your speeds to suit these cars.

3. Tyre selections are the drivers responsibility. If you use the automatic tyre selection option in RSRBR2011, please beware that sometimes it may give you the wrong tyre for the conditions. Always double check your tyres, it is critical.

If requests are made for any additional timezones, or changes to Start times to better suit your local needs, we will try to include them ( but within the Monday/Tuesday periods).

Good luck all, I hope you enjoy this extreme Rally test. If not, send your comments to the "Evil Biscuit Man". :rally:

Watch out for the Grim Reaper, he is lurking everywhere on these Stages.

James Knowles (Tannat)

Could I request a Sunday OC time please?

Monday and Tuesday my gaming calendar is full-busy week for Rallyesim.

If the answer is "no" then no worries...

Thanks for your consideration...

Ok.... so this looks evil but.....
Am i reading this correctly? Are we really not going to be able to choose the appropriate tyres for each stage???!
For instance stages 4-6, one is snow, one is gravel and the other is icy tarmac. With no service inbetween there is going to be no choice but to take snow tyres and that's going to make the gravel stage doubly super evil!!!!

anyway, i'm game..... i think.....

Ian Bundell - ian_isnt - EU

Oops!!!

Between Norman and I, we both clean forgot about the tyres not being able to be changed. Even we are not that evil.

I'll re-arrange it to remove the cumulative damage.

Thanks for letting us know Ian. :thumb:

All Drivers please note:

The Damage setting for this Rally has changed from the original Cumulative Damage, and will now be run as Realistic Damage, as per usual Public Sessions.

That means you get to change tyres and repair damage after each Stage.

It still remains a very challenging Rally though.
