Our next Rally is open for sign-up.

We continue with the smaller cars, but this time we step up to the 4WD S2000 rockets. We have chosen a choice of three cars from the N4_S2000_1 Car pack, selected because these have proven to be unloved in our RDRC over recent seasons. However, all three cars are very quick, stable, and should be evenly matched over these stages. They are also great fun to drive, forgiving, and again should suit those new to RBR or the Rally Club.

All Stages are gravel, weather is mostly mild, and should again be friendly to new drivers.
The final stage is a BTB Stage and is a very long and twisty mountain climb.

PLEASE NOTE: You must select your car from the available list in the sign-up, so early sign-ups get a bigger choice of cars. Don't worry, all cars are closely matched in performance.

DRIVER BRIEFING NOTES:

1. These cars are typical S2000 4WD, quite fast but with great nimble handling. You should be able to drive these quite aggressively.

2. RBR Pacenotes are designed for default cars, Normal conditions and Good weather. Please remember to adjust your speeds to suit these cars.

PLEASE NOTE re SS08, Mont Herman: This is a BTB Stage and the Pacenotes are not very good. They are mostly called correctly but the calls are generally very early. This can cause confusion due to the many tight turns closely grouped together. Often, the calls can be two turns ahead which gives the impression of the next turn being wrongly called. Extreme concentration is needed to remember which turn is being called as you approach a turn. If you use 3D Pacenotes, it may be preferable to turn this option off to avoid further confusion.

3. Tyre selections are the drivers responsibility. If you use the automatic tyre selection option in RSRBR2012, please beware that sometimes it may give you the wrong tyre for the conditions. Always double check your tyres, it is critical, especially for Snow Stages.

If requests are made for any additional timezones, or changes to Start times to better suit your local needs, we will try to include them ( but within the Monday/Tuesday periods).

In addition, we have the added bonus for the driver who finishes in 8th place, choosing the details for the nominated Club Rally on 23rd & 24th July 2012.

Good luck all, and I'll leave it to your own imagination to decide which cars are "The Good", "The Bad", and "The Ugly". ;):D

:coffee:... Oh man, I was hoping to drive "The Beautiful" (Mini S2000)

Hmm... The Bad and The Ugly's car might be the majorities choice here since The Good's car has the lowest horse power and not that popular too, but we all know what happened in the movie so I'm gonna go with The Good's car .

Hmm... The Bad and The Ugly's car would be the majorities choice here since The Good's car has the lowest horse power and not that popular too,

Don't place too much importance on the info listed in the Game menu for each car, I've tested each of these cars and they are all very close in performance. I think the in-game physics don't match what the RSRBR car info says. ;)

EDIT: BTW, I'll save my choice to later and take whichever one seems the least popular.

Bummer, my gaming PC has just started doing very weird things. :( It keeps dying and losing resources.

So it's back to the repair man tomorrow.

So I'll most likely be missing this one. :poop:

All drivers please note:

The Racing Club Password has changed again (Friday 6th July) and the new one will be used for this Rally.

Please re-check the Password in the link provided in the Event post.
