Time for our next tribute-rally. This week we are remembering the late Michael Park and his WRC-victories as co-driver for Marko Märtin by using stages that have the same feeling as the real ones. Have fun out there :)

General RBR Club Rally Rules:

1. You need to be a licensed member to take part in this event. Gaining a license is a very easy thing to do. Just click here and you will get a license for in a day or two!

2. As always, Club Events are for casual fun racing. It's always great fun to be fastest, and win. But this is not the main thing to achieve in Club Events. The club events are for developing your skills and test new cars and stages.

3. The usual RaceDepartment rule do apply. You need to keep two wheels on the road. Even though this is a rally game. We will not check this on replays, but for yourself, and all the other drivers please follow this rule.

4. RaceDepartments Terms of Service do apply. If you haven't read it, or don't remember the 19 points of the ToS. Please read it again.

5. If you feel the need to contact anyone about something that's happened on the forum or on the stages for some reason, you can always report the post. Or you can send a Private Message to either Ole Marius Myrvold or Roy Magnes (by clicking on the link in the names).
6. The RBR Club Staff reserve the right to ban any person from driving in the Rally Club. The time of the ban will differ from each situation. You can still be banned from the RBR Club, even though you do not lose your RD License, but you cannot drive if you don't have a license.

7. As this is not a circuit, there is no possible way for one driver to affect another during the events. By such, there should not be any reason for drivers to be angry with one eachother after a rally. A good rule is to read through your post before posting it. If it comes across as angry, or full of sarcasm. It might be good idea to wait some more minutes to post. Remember the general RD rule: " Mutual respect between the people using the RaceDepartment.com website(s) and forums. This means you may not personally attack other forum users. malicious behaviour and bullying will not be tolerated. If there is a problem report it to the staff."
DRIVER BRIEFING NOTES:

1. This car is 4WD and quite powerful, but at the same time it is quite nimble and forgiving to drive. As it is a WRC it has powerful brakes, but you still have to remember to use them ahead of a corner.

2. RBR Pacenotes are designed for default cars, Normal conditions and Good weather. Please remember to adjust your speeds to suit these cars.

3. Tyre selections are the drivers responsibility. If you use the automatic tyre selection option in RSRBR2013, please beware that sometimes it may give you the wrong tyre for the conditions. Always double check your tyres, it is critical, especially for Snow Stages.

4. Please ensure to install the all the packs needed. This means theA8W_03, BTB Sweden, and BTB Finland packs!

5.There is a NEW password for both the servers(sessions) and teamspeak. Please check it outhere!

6. Please report any problems caused by the stages, or the inability to make sessions, posts and times right from the Rally Club Staff!

If requests are made for any additional timezones, or changes to Start times to better suit your local needs, we will try to include them ( but within the Monday/Tuesday periods).

And with this post! The sign up is open! We wish everyone the best of luck! And hope that noone gets in any trouble!

Bummer
Would have loved to participate with all honor, but seems I'm late by 15 mins. EU session will be too late for me.
Well, vacation coming in about 2 weeks, so I will join then;) Nice choice of stages!
Wanted to do the Evo-lution event as well, but no time lol

Those finnish stages are some slideshow :D Horrible FPS there for me! Hygget on the other hand was mostly fine. Two DNFs this time. Foron which doesn't surprise and Ruuhimäki. Very disappointed to retire there because it's the stage I know best having driven through that stage multiple times IRL. :)

As I said beforehand, I'll show everyone why I'm not in a WRC car.....

SS1 - Rally School Czeck:

Put a rear wheel outside of the tarmac on a 4th gear corner and the car flew into a tree out of control and stage over. First time on the stage so didn't expect anything special.

SS2 - Tanner:

The Ford was unexpectedly nice to drive on the snow and I had a fairly good run with a few wide slides and understeer moments but good overall :)

SS3 - Gran Canaria:

Was on a good run that would probably have been faster than Tapio but got an oversteer moment and hit the barriers just a few sconds before the finish so lost a lot of seconds getting going again.

SS4 - Foron:

I'm guessing that it was a good run but I couldn't get the car to turn properly at the hairpins. Handbrake and I would go straight. Brake and turn and it would be too slow. Got one right and tried to do it again and I almost hit the outside barriers instead....

SS5 - Hygget:

Happy with this one :)

Only one misstake which was the incar camera not showing me where the right hand side wheels were so almost went off at the place where you have about a car width but it was good fun, finally understood the car

SS6 - Poykky:

Had a CFH here when I couldn't see where a hairpin was coming and understeered on a crest. After that also hit a tree slightly but it was allright. I did a Martin/Park from Monte in -01 I think it was when several drivers was close to hitting a tree and they hit it with the rear and just missing hitting it with the wheel :roflmao:

SS7 - Korpiaho:

Had a couple of scares but managed to survive without any mayor offs :)

SS8 . Ruuhimäki:

Was flying through the stage having some good sector times then you have a double jump where I entered the first one and landed left front first, the car wobbled, I oversteered, overcorrected that, flew over the second jump and hit a tree and 15 seconds later I had stopped rolling.

I can say 2 things of this incident:

1. I was flying through in 6th gear when I hit the first jump there

2. It was a proper Finnish off. If you are going to crash, crash hard and spectacularly :p

Was quite fun though, a very nice set of stages :)

Rest in peace Michael, may there be rally stages and good cars where ever you are now

Both Pinky and myself will be missing our original sessions, so we have created an EUZ-session startng 21:30 GMT for anyone interested :)

Miikka Peltola - you may sign up right until the final session starts :)

Aaargh. Not happy with my driving tonight. Punctuated by crashes and mistakes, and for some reason the setups I saved weren't accessible?

The only full time I ran was on Gran Canaria... and on that one I was the fastest in my session, so at least I have that to take away from it all...

I'll be back for more!
