lol that was fun. thank god for the spectators. very helpful.
Starlet was fun to drive. That thing has balls, but it gets tossed around pretty easy.

Def not a good rally for me, with one spectator hit on SS2 just feet away from the finish, two call for helps on SS4 along with sloppy driving.... I don't think my 2nd place Club event streak is going to last.. lol

Still a fun rally, thanks to the guys in charge with another great rally.

I installed TS the other day on me laptop, and it can be a really good with the built in mic for skype, but has a really bad echo effect on with TS O_o

Not much experience with any of it, but I'm guessing switching to headphones and push to talk might help.

I rather enjoyed this one, these RWD cars really keep you on the edge and force you to concentrate like no other. :eek:
I wanted to try a different car for this one, and since I had driven the Escort Mk2, Volvo, and Corolla before, I picked the Escort Mk5, hoping it would be similar to the Mk2. It had the same overpowered feeling as the Mk2, but seemed just a little more forgiving, so it was a lot of fun.

I had a few nasty moments (always expect this with RWD) but managed to keep it fairly clean, but probably a bit too careful. It was nice to bring the car home undamaged for once.

We had a good roll-up in the OC Session tonight, nice to TS chat with Rick, Jeremy, Mike, Keegs and Damien at the start. Thanks guys, nice to see the old gang back together.

Great to have Andrew and Jack join us in the session too.

After this rally, I'm tempted to join the 2WD brigade in the RDRC just for the sliding fun of these cars.

So my first RD club rally, and it was done in a Swedish shopping trolley! Was definitely as tough as I expected. The length and difficulty of the rally is absolutely spot on for sorting everyone out! Was stuffed by the end of it! Two cfh (couple of rolls on to the side) and an overshoot, were the only major problems (apart from lack of pace!!) The Eskys were flying!! Thanks to the organising team, and the other drivers for having a go! See you next event, for sure!
