Update 06 has now been released. It is not essential for this Rally but drivers are advised to update in preparation for future Rallys.

PLEASE NOTE: If you request an additional Session to be created, you must sign up and make the request at least 12 hours before the requested start time. Late requests will not be accepted.

SS06 - Australia - New Bobs - Normal, Covered "Damp", Day
SS07 - Japan - Tanner - Normal, Thick Fog, Day
SS08 - World Stages – Versme – Gravel, Good, Night

EUX Start: 16:00 GMT Monday *
Europe Start: 19:00 GMT Monday *
USX Start:00:00 GMT Tuesday (8PM Monday Eastern Time) *
US Start: 02:00 GMT Tuesday (10PM Eastern (USA), 8PM Mountain Time, Monday) *
Oceania Start: 10:30 GMT Tuesday (8:30PM EST.) *

Additional timezone Rallys may be created on request.

If the USA Session drivers prefer a different Start time, please let us know, we can be flexible to suit.

All sessions will be combined together for an overall result for the event. You can run on more than one session, but the first Session in which you post a sector time will be the one counted for the overall result.

You will require the RSRBR 2012 Mod & Update 05, in order to participate, please see the Installation and Usage thread.
Please Note: Update 06 is released. It is not required for this Rally but may be required for future Rallys.
You will also require the Group_H car pack
Teamspeak is highly recommended, and adds to the fun.

IMPORTANT:

Please sign up in the following format: RD Name (RSRBR2012 Name) - Session. Include your Team choice.
Take a screenie of RSCenter, or save your times, showing your final results at the end of the rally (including the car you drove!). This is in case any of your stages are missed by the server. If there's a discrepancy, please post your times ASAP so we're not adjusting times over 24 hours later.
You must stick with the same car throughout the rally - if you change, your times for those stages will be defaulted.

Our next Rally is open for sign-up.

We have a different Team concept, based on a proposal by Jack Hintz. The aim is to balance a skilled / experienced driver with a mere mortal / less experienced driver to create some interest for all.

We will be driving the traditional Group H cars, the historic RWD cars that are popular with many of our members.
As usual, the Stages cover a very wide range of road surfaces, countries, weather, and time of day, to make it a varied challenge.

The Team Challenge:

Drivers will be matched into two driver teams, but with the following restrictions to keep some fairness and balance.

1. We will use current RDRC Driver Grades to keep teams as balanced as possible. Drivers in Grade 1 & 2 will be paired with drivers from Grade 3 & 4. If a driver does not have a current RDRC Grade, then Rally Club Directors will choose pairings based on a best estimate of grading.
2. We will pair drivers approximately according to the order of Sign-Up, but pairings by Rally Club Directors will be final. No arguments please, we'll try to be as fair as possible.
3. The total times for each driver will be added to determine the result for each team
4. PLEASE sign-up as early as possible to assist the pairing process, last minute sign-ups will risk not being paired.
5. We will still have individual results in case some drivers are not paired.
6. Drivers in each Team do not have to drive the same car, car choice is free within the Grp H Pack.

If requests are made for any additional timezones, or changes to Start times to better suit your local needs, we will try to include them ( but within the Monday/Tuesday periods).

I've posted this Event earlier than usual, to allow us more time to arrange the Team pairings.

Please help us as much as possible by signing up early and try not to leave your sign-up to the last few hours. If you do, there is a good chance you won't be paired with another Driver.
