Rally - Escort Mk 2 Take 2 - Mon 28th & Tues 29th November 2011

We had a ton of fun in the OC Session tonight, with 4 Aussies on TS as well.
This car is just a hoot to drive, probably the most fun of all cars in RSRBR.

I thought I had a good run too, no major mistakes, probably a bit too safe and steady, but I kept it fairly clean.
However, I was no match for Jeremy who blew us away tonight. Great driving Jeremy.
We had some very close Stages, eg. on Diamond Creek, Jeremy, Rick and I were all within 1 second.

Thanks to all who joined OC, and thanks to Jeremy, Keegs, and Rick for the TS fun. :D

Well I had a Blast driving this car just like last time :)
the sound of the engine as you try to keep your foot flat coming out of a corner...man my heart was thumping by the end of it.
thanks to all the were on team speak in the OC session i had a great time, and i think the setups i had might of helped keep my driving clean through out the stages and that goes double for SS08 man does this thing sway on tarmac with standard setup....fun!

O here is the replays from the last 2 stages if anyone wants a look

A lot of fun to drive this car, especially in long corners where you can go sideways:).First stage on was clean and good battle with australian drivers. ;) But then comes gravel stages with two impressive crashes .In last stage I choose wrong setup(gravel setup :D ) and quick finish in the tree .

Tnx to organisators!

p.s sorry for my bad english

Overall Rally Results

Congrats Sebastien, Jeremy and Warren :trophy: <- aw, no trophy

Stage wins:
Sebastien Levret: 6 stage wins :star::star::star::star::star::star: <- aw, no stars even :o
Jeremy Loveland: 1 stage win :star:
Ole Marius Myrvold: 1 stage win :star:

Thanks to everyone who joined, hope to see you all next week :rally: <- and no rally :(

Please let me know if you notice any mistakes.

Congratulations (yet again :p) Seb, still dominant no matter which car we pick. ;)
Well done Jeremy, first of the mere mortals. You drove a very good rally.

Ole and Jeremy managed to steal two Stage wins from Seb, quite an achievement these days.

Good rally for three of us Aussies in OC, good clean driving from Keegs too.

Big welcome to Jimi, a very good result for your debut in the Rally Club. Welcome also to Taj, hope to see both of you regularly.
Nice to see Tomas and Askok return too, haven't seen you guys for some time.

I think this Escort Mk2 proved popular again, most of us love driving it, even if it is a bit tricky and nerve wracking to handle at times. First time we have tried it with realistic damage, but it seemed pretty sturdy.

Huge thanks again to Senad, running the whole show single handed again. :thanks: <------- No Thanks smile either

I'm off to dream up something for next week, is there anything you CAN'T drive Seb? :)
I'm leaning towards something COLD, COMRADES. That should be a slight hint.

I have become a big fan of realistic damage. There have been no incidents with me shouting 'what the hell, any car could survive that!' at the monitor. All my virtual dead cars would've been dead in real life as well.

Same for me, in fact I seem to have had fewer crashes since we have been using realistic damage, maybe that says something for the way I drive. It is forcing me to be more careful.

Not quite sure what happened...

We were discussing this in the OC Session last night. Rick said he has seen this before, if the driver is using a car setup that is outside the normal parameters allowed for the car.
Any chance you loaded a setup that came from an older version of RSRBR or maye a setup from the Czech Mod?

Second event with a RWD, and I really like these cars. Hard to drive but fun and happy when you can finish a clear rally.

BTW, congratulation to everybody who finished the rally without retired. In realistic damage, the number of people who are able to avoid a retired increased, that means that the level of everybody is getting better. That's sounds greats.

Thanks to everybody for this fun event, and thanks to Senad for this event.

I was using setup which was uploaded by Michael. No idea how it works here but in CZ plugin it says when you have wrong parameters. And Im pretty sure I tried that setup on snow surface before the actual rally.
