Tried the car now with Robert.

It's like playing GRID all over again, just flat out everywhere . Once you get your speed up, it's great fun. Chucking it about, Scandinavian flicking everywhere :love:

Just a warning or two. The car is really slow. Be careful to finish in time for the next stage.
Also, I hit a couple of kerbs, and just couldn't get the car back on the road. A lot of CFHs.

This is very true. Just in case others aren't aware, once you have started the rally, you don't have to wait till the end of the countdown to start each Stage, you can start the next Stage anytime before the countdown ends.
By starting each stage a little early, you can be more sure to not run out of time.

Looks like im stuffed for now with this RBR game ....im using XP and suddenly have no sound(engine sounds) gravel and pacenotes i do have.

Will prolly reinstall this OS and hopefully get sorted

Too bad Robert... Did you have sounds in the original game? Do you have sounds with other car packs?

There was a similar thread in the RBR section, maybe there was a solution posted.

Like Warren said in the intro post:

The RSRBR2010 mod version of this car is a little rough, the modelling isn’t up to the usual standard, the cockpit is very basic, but it should still prove fun to drive.
The default skin is very plain, but there is a nicer one here (the one shown in the video below), which can be easily installed using the Skin Manager:

ss3 ok...ish
ss4 1 half spin and huge momentum gone, lots of time lost..

Świder, that is not as bad as my roll on SS1 (overdone the fast left after the pedal-to-the-metal section) and costly spin followed by zilion-point-turn back onto the road in SS4 . We are TIGHT in the results... And I mean it - 0.02? How much closer do you want it to be?

Just finished surviving Noiker. MAGIC! We need more lenghty stages . And seeing how long it takes to finish it - maybe (from the next event to make it fair) we should change the way we count DNF? Maybe every DNF == winners time +5 mins? It would be more sensible in my eyes, as on Noiker in Escort the penalty is relatively small, and probably someone WILL be slower than the default time.
