All sessions will be combined together for an overall result for the event. You can only run on one session.

** PLEASE NOTE re Car Selection:
To help ensure a more mixed car selection, please select a car from the available list in the Sign-Up post (below).

In Addition: You must choose a different manufacturer car to the one you drove in the previous rally, Sno-Balls. ie. If you drove a Ford, you cannot drive a Ford this time, if you drove a Peugeot, you cannot drive a Peugeot this time, and so on.
Initially only three of each car will be available, so first in best dressed. All cars are closely matched in performance. If more drivers sign up after all cars are allocated, then we will add an additional one of each car.

NOTES:
  • Click here to read the password!
  • You will require the RSRBR 2011 mod, ( Update 03 ), in order to participate, please see the installation and Usage thread.
Update 04 may be released prior to this rally, please check this thread for further info.
  • You will also require the A8W-02 Car pack.
  • Teamspeak is highly recommended, and adds to the fun.

IMPORTANT:
  • Please sign up in the following format: RD Name (RSRBR2011 Name)
  • Take a screenie of RSCenter, or save your times, showing your final results at the end of the rally (including the car you drove!). This is in case any of your stages are missed by the server. If there's a discrepancy, please post your times ASAP so we're not adjusting times over 24 hours later.
  • You must stick with the same car throughout the rally - if you change, your times for those stages will be defaulted.
  • If you are new to Richard Burns Rally, we have provided a set of guidelines and links to help you get up and running: Here

Our next Rally is open for sign-up.

This Rally is a continuation of the theme from the last Rally. Again, we stay with the early years of WRC Rally Cars, but move forward a couple of years to 2002. These cars are typical 4WD Rally Cars, but lack some of the power and smarts of modern Rally Cars. The A8W-02 Car Pack has a wide selection of cars available, but all are quite closely matched, with some variation in handling / weight characteristics.

For this Rally, we get down and dirty, often muddy. All Stages will be driven on Gravel, with normal gravel in England, Japan, and USA, followed by two Gravel Mod Stages across France.

The weather is very wet and raining for most Stages, but has started to improve towards the end.

Car Selection Rules: You must select your car from the available list in the sign-up, so early sign-ups get a bigger choice of cars. However, we have an additional twist. You must select a car from a different Manufacturer to the one you drove in the last Rally (Sno-Balls), see more explanation in the Sign-Up.

Don't worry, all cars are closely matched in performance, but may have slightly different handling characteristics. The Stages are varied to help even out any handling variations too.

DRIVER BRIEFING NOTES:

1. These cars are all 4WD and handling should be familiar to those used to driving WRC cars. All cars are similar in performance, but handle differently. The wet weather will make the gravel more slippery than usual, so extra care will be needed.

2. RBR Pacenotes are designed for default cars, Normal conditions and Good weather. Please remember to adjust your speeds to suit these cars.

3. Tyre selections are the drivers responsibility. If you use the automatic tyre selection option in RSRBR2011, please beware that sometimes it may give you the wrong tyre for the conditions. Always double check your tyres, it is critical.

If requests are made for any additional timezones, or changes to Start times to better suit your local needs, we will try to include them ( but within the Monday/Tuesday periods).

Please note that Start Times now take into account DST adjustments around the world. Please check your local times.

Good luck all, I hope you have fun driving in the mud. :rally:

Big thanks to Damien for the neat Banner. :thanks:
(Anyone notice that we have a “special guest driver” in the Hyundai?)

Here’s a little video to help you see the car choices (with some available custom skins), and a small taste of the Stages to be expected:

As much fun as this sounds I am booked in for an important poker tournament next tuesday and then the week following is the League rally which unfortunately I think is beyond my attention span at this stage so see yas in a couple of weeks. Good luck all

Roy Magnes - Roy Magnes - EU - Peugeot 206

Found that the Peugeot was the car I was most comfotable with, so this time I'll make a reasonable choise
