Our next Rally is open for sign-up.

This Rally will be the first of a series of Tribute Rallys that we will plan to run sporadically throughout the year. The aim will be to honour various Rally Driving Legends, past and present, by driving cars symbolic to these drivers.

For our first Tribute, we honour the great Colin McRae, and the car that brought him his first WRC Championship, the Subaru Impreza 95.

The Stages cover many of the default Countries and their default surfaces, so you will experience, snow, gravel, and tarmac. We have also kept the weather very mild to ensure a somewhat less harrowing drive for newer / inexperienced drivers. This car is a 4WD WRC car, but is very nice to drive, especially over the more flowing Stages, so it should fulfil my promise to make this Rally less challenging than the last one. However, RBR is still quite a demanding Sim, so this car still requires respect. I have tested it on most Stages using default set up, and found it a pleasure to drive.

If requests are made for any additional timezones, we will try to include them ( but within the Monday/Tuesday periods).

Good luck all, and hope we see a good roll up. :rally:

A little video to help you see what is in store for you.

And a small real life tribute to the Lengendry Driver and his Subaru.

I wonder how many of you were like me, watching that real life tribute movie of Colin McRae and thinking some of those "accidents" were eerily similar to your experiences with RBR? :)

Wheeee !! Come home after a 15 hour day at work and this awaits me. Thanks Warren for such a nice tribute to a guy who's name will always be up there.

John Low - elmomarty - OC

Just drove all stages in one practice run with Nigel. Excellent choice Warren. Some are nice, others difficult, overall a good mix and quiet a challenge.

Watch out Aussies, the European Rally challenge is turning up the heat. :D

EDIT: NOTE: Looking at the Rallyesim website, it now looks like the RSRBR2010 UPDATE 05 won't be released before this Rally. That may be a relief, since I'm always nervous when a major Update gets released just before a scheduled Rally.
