Our next Rally is open for sign-up.

This week we stick with the 2WD cars, but this time a much easier FWD car, the Alfa 33.
This car is typical FWD, and the handling will be very different to the last Rally. This car is much easier to drive and should be much more suited for newer RBR drivers. Naturally, it has much less power, so some skill will be needed to extract the best times from it.

Stages are comprised of 4 gravel surfaces followed by 4 tarmac surfaces. Please note that the final 3 Stages use BTB Spain tracks, so an additional install of the BTB Spain Country Pack is needed . We have used these Stages previously in the Rally Club (Rally Ole) and all are quite fast and interesting Stages that should suit this car.

We will use REALISTIC damage, but weather conditions are generally mild, with a little rain and one night stage. This should not be a very difficult Rally and is designed to make newer drivers feel more comfy.

DRIVER BRIEFING NOTES:

1. This cars is typical FWD, and has quite stable handling.

2. RBR Pacenotes are designed for default cars, Normal conditions and Good weather. Please remember to adjust your speeds to suit these cars.

3. Tyre selections are the drivers responsibility. If you use the automatic tyre selection option in RSRBR2012, please beware that sometimes it may give you the wrong tyre for the conditions. Always double check your tyres, it is critical, especially when changing to Snow Stages.

If requests are made for any additional timezones, or changes to Start times to better suit your local needs, we will try to include them ( but within the Monday/Tuesday periods).

In addition, we have the added bonus for the driver who finishes in 10th place, choosing the details for the nominated Club Rally on 9th & 10th April 2012. (as per the proposals submitted by Fernando Agapito/Pete Mull).

Good luck all, and hope you enjoy this Classic little Italian ride.

To help set the scene, a brief video of the Alfa 33 in action:

BTB tracks... I guess I'll have to do a little training as I have no idea what they are like excpet Malaga A7000.
