Porsche 911. A name that is synonomous to racing, Le Mans, Sebring, glitter and glamour. But not this time. We're getting the glamourous girl wild and dirty!
Even though Porsche is without any official WRC victories, they were often at the sharp end in the field when they participated, with driver talents such as Björn Waldegård, Jean-Pierre Nicholas and Jean-Luc Thèrier giving strong performances.
Time to reclaim the forest in the name of flat 6 engines!

General RBR Club Rally Rules:
1. You need to be a licensed member to take part in this event. Gaining a license is a very easy thing to do. Just click here and you will get a license for in a day or two!

2. As always, Club Events are for casual fun racing. It's always great fun to be fastest, and win. But this is not the main thing to achieve in Club Events. The club events are for developing your skills and test new cars and stages.

3. The usual RaceDepartment rule do apply. You need to keep two wheels on the road. Even though this is a rally game. We will not check this on replays, but for yourself, and all the other drivers please follow this rule.

4. RaceDepartments Terms of Service do apply. If you haven't read it, or don't remember the 19 points of the ToS. Please read it again.

5. If you feel the need to contact anyone about something that's happened on the forum or on the stages for some reason, you can always report the post. Or you can send a Private Message to either Ole Marius Myrvold or Roy Magnes (by clicking on the link in the names).

6. The RBR Club Staff reserve the right to ban any person from driving in the Rally Club. The time of the ban will differ from each situation. You can still be banned from the RBR Club, even though you do not lose your RD License, but you cannot drive if you don't have a license.

7. As this is not a circuit, there is no possible way for one driver to affect another during the events. By such, there should not be any reason for drivers to be angry with one eachother after a rally. A good rule is to read through your post before posting it. If it comes across as angry, or full of sarcasm. It might be good idea to wait some more minutes to post. Remember the general RD rule: " Mutual respect between the people using the RaceDepartment.com website(s) and forums. This means you may not personally attack other forum users. malicious behaviour and bullying will not be tolerated. If there is a problem report it to the staff."

DRIVER BRIEFING NOTES:

1. This car is pretty forgiving to race. It is mid-range powered, rear wheel driven, and understeered as Porsches usually are. Dance with light feet!

2. RBR Pacenotes are designed for default cars, Normal conditions and Good weather. Please remember to adjust your speeds to suit these cars.

3. Tyre selections are the drivers responsibility. If you use the automatic tyre selection option in RSRBR2014, please beware that sometimes it may give you the wrong tyre for the conditions. Always double check your tyres, it is critical, especially for Snow Stages.

4.Please ensure to install the all the packs needed. Everything needed is linked to in blue in the opening post!

5.There is a NEW password for both the servers(sessions) and teamspeak. Please check it out here!

6.Please report any problems caused by the stages, or the inability to make sessions, posts and times right from the Rally Club Staff!

If requests are made for any additional timezones, or changes to Start times to better suit your local needs, we will try to include them ( but within the Monday/Tuesday periods).

And with this post! The sign up is open! We wish everyone the best of luck! And hope that no one gets in any trouble!

Important! The NGP4Publich patch is nececcary to use the NGP cars online. Open RSCentre as normal, go to Public, then double-click the patch and keep that window open in the background while driving.

The link for the patch is found in the first post.

Did the earlier EU session.

Went as close to perfect as I could have hoped for. No mistakes until Joux Verte where I lost ~7 seconds with a tree tap and another small contact on SS8 in a chicane led to a full 360 and about 3 seconds lost. So to only really have lost 10 seconds through errors over 45km of this thing on snow, gravel and tarmac I am really happy with. Good luck guys in the later session.

Oscar.

Hmmm....this was, by far, the worst piece of **** car i ever have put my hands on. I never had control of it at any time during the stages. So as you guess it was not a good rally for me, but still it was fun to drive. Very impressive times By Fabian:thumbsup:. I don't understand how he did that....Great drive.

Well that was a nice rally. Had a great pace during finland, didnt expect that, just felt like the porsche was a part of me :p. Some close fights with Roy handing over sector bests and stage times.
One thing that beetled (if you pardon the pun) me, was a collateral damage at The W. Some of the spectators were not standing in the safety zone and I powerslided into them...Only saw the rescue helicopter flying off...I hope the officials will take notice :whistling:
The fast and flowing stages of this rally just matched my setup and I could drive some personal bests.
Just had a blast through Joux Verte. Nearly every weight transfer worked perfectly (didnt use the handbrake at all), nearly every braking point nailed and could push hard on the fast bits. That was awesome fun.
Messed up the stage thats similar to my name...handbrake got stuck some times and missed quite a few apexes...

And @Magnar Haarstadsveen getting a compliment from you, was in my life goals :inlove: I can die happy now! :D Because normally it's the other way around and I'm just  looking at you're times compared to mine! I'm gonna upload some replays later

I think I'm going to open a Historic Group in the RDRC :ninja: I just love the Porsche.

I caught a rock with 3 corners to go on Humalamaki, so I flipped the car and got stuck in the ditch with the rear wheels hanging in the air, so a CFH there. A few small spins was the only things I encountered otherwise in the rally, so all in all a good rally for me.

The ultimate satisfaction was seeing myself faster than Magnar on a regular basis and not just in the lucky stages, I think we need to do even more RWD rallies in the future :D
Awesome pace on Fabian yesterday, even when I felt I had done good stages you somehow usually were a few seconds faster than me. Good work!
