rainfx help

Hi, please bare with me I'm new to content manager, sol and csp. Basically I can't get the rain to work. I've paid for content manager and became a patreon for CSP. I've followed the instructions to install sol 2.1.3 and csp 1.75. I've tried multiple versions of csp. Installed and reinstalled multiple times. Searched forums and youtube but nothing I have tried works.

Using kunos cars and tracks the wipers will come on and the sky changes as I select it. But the ground is dry and no drops of rain. When I try the manual rain it resets before any rain falls.

Any help is appreciated

App on the left says you are running csp 1.69

I'm having this exact same issue lol. I've been up literally all day and night trying to fix this. I have a banging headache and I'm starving. I think I'm gonna call it a night now. I feel f'ked!

I don't even see the 'RAIN FX' in the vertical extension settings menu in CSP. Even though I ticked the 'Shaders extension rain' setting box in Content, Miscellaneous, Apps. I've tried so many things. I was hoping to get to try it today at least but I give up.

I could upload a short video of my settings to my YouTube channel tomorrow if anyone want's to tell me what I have or haven't done.

Its a patreon version only thing, RAIN IS NOT WORKING IN THE FREE/PUBLIC versions of CSP atm ! Sorry for shouting.

CSP 0.1.75 is not enough!

You need CSP 0.1.75-previewX or higher !
I had the 0.1.75 version. I literally just changed it now to the preview version.

Finally after a good sleep and some coffee's I worked it out. I suspected it was a file issue last night, and it was. Thank god! I now have the 'RAIN FX' setting in the CSP menu. I'm so happy!!!
I saw it in the menu after carefully swapping some files around (for the 4th time!) in the Assetto Corsa base file.

I just came on here to quickly say I did it, but I have not tried it out in VR or 2D yet. I hope it actually works now. I've not even ran a benchmark, not that it would do much to test it.
I need to try to see if it actually works in practise now.

What weather settings should I have? The default 'x4fab' ones, or the 'Sol' ones?

This sim needs an application to check and clean the files etc. I know Steam can do a basic scan of default files but I think we need something more advanced. Just like the community made a DCS one. As this sim is getting very complex now. Almost as complex as DCS, when you take into account the amount of mods this thing has now.
Has anyone heard of such a thing for Assetto Corsa?

Thanks for the help guys. Only realised at lunchtime that even though I had the preview version, I was accidentally knocking it off. So preview version only! Imagine trying to make it rain in ireland
That's great that you fixed it!

I have another problem now. In my Kunos Ford Escort, the wipers would only complete one animation and then stop. I then downloaded 'BLM cars' and now the wipers don't wash away the rain on the windscreen and yet it still only completes one animation cycle.
