Well I just got some bad news. Ive got a customer who wants to meet me when qualifying starts for this race. So I gotta pull out of this event, because it could be 5 minutes with him or it could be 2 hours.

So sorry guys, I was really looking forward to this race.

Keith

My intent was not to publicly pick out any individuals, and I battled with a good few folks that night, most of whom were fair and true in their defensive manoeuvres (something I should have said before) ... but I do vaguely remember that you belonged in the "good boys" list mate.
The sheer fact that such things concern you enough to go looking for the rules is enough for me bud, and if all these discussion do is heighten awareness and help increase respect between RD drivers, then we have won something by it I would say.

Don't get me wrong I don't want no namby pamby "after you sir" kinda racing ... I love a hard battle with a similarly skilled driver, and think that some of the best moments I have had racing here were like that, but there must be respect between drivers and blocking manoeuvres should be fair and clean.

I would rather drive honourably and lose than beat someone to the line by any unfair means.

Quali - 5th

Race 1 - Didn't have the right setup in the faster sections but made up for it in the corners. Bob was too fast for me as he pulled away for the win. Finished P2.

Race 2 - Bob and I started back of the grid and off the start he follows down the inside as we head up the grid heading into T1. Bob overtakes me and he's off to chase down James. Can see up ahead Bob and James are battling for P1 and slowly make my way back up to them. James was in P2 heading into the last turn and I don't know if it was lag but his car was completely frozen on track and don't know if I made contact with him or not. If so sorry mate. The last 6 laps were a blur as Bob would pull away then I would gain on him. It was like this lap after lap. I'm in P1 as Bob goes slightly off before the final lap. Have a 4 sec lead when I totally space out and miss my brakepoint and go off. Bob back into P1. Now I just go all out trying to catch him again. Gain on him on the final corner and heading to the line he gets me for a photo finish winning by .016. WOW what a race lots of fun. Congrats Bob.

Thanks for everyone that raced and to Yves and RD for organizing the event.

See you guys next time. :)
