Hello, yes indeed that is correct, because of limitations in game data being sent over UDP, there is no way to distinguish between the two. This is listed in the manual section 3.7.12.5 Vehicle Recognition

Hey, I've been using this tool for the past couple days, and everything works great. It's a lot of data that I want to play with and create a web app to see how we're doing along stages and splits. Would someone mind going over what each of the column names are?

As just mentioned in the discord " If you open up the actual MoTeC LD file in MoTeC the names are a bit more descriptive at least. (you will likely know for sure which is which and you can directly compare the values to the CSV). "
