Raceroom Server List

So for fun I created a free server list for Raceroom, but since Sector 3 do not supply an API to get all server list I had to create my own broadcast app which sends your session details to a main server.

The app is in Beta stage and I wonder if any RR3 admins would be interested to list their servers online as shown below. It's a replica of the in-game search but can add more stuff if I see interest, like joining from the web etc.

If I see that a few are interested, I can upload the broadcast app to the downloads section here for you guys to use, and also open for suggestions to add more functionality.

How does this work? Would it need to be something which is running on our server all the time, or does the app just submit data which is then hosted elsewhere?

The little app below has to be installed on the server and kept running. It does not take any resources at all. What is does is that every 10 seconds it checks if Raceroom server is running, then it connects to it and gets all sessions detail and sends it to my server. Then the web app reads this data and displays it. Very simple.

You can now join a server from the web. Just set your username as seen in the 2nd image and you're all good to join.

The server list is for everyone mate, whoever has raceroom dedi servers running can be included in the list automatically when installing the broadcast app.
