Sector3 Studios have finally released a full GTR3 car pack for the most popular class of cars within RaceRoom Racing Experience. Today the Swedish studio have released the GTR3 car pack containing no less than 13 GT3 spec cars and over 100 unique liveries.

Containing a mammoth 13 different GT3 cars from 10 top manufacturers the GTR3 class within RaceRoom Racing Experience has long been a popular online choice for sim racers, now Sector3 have made the long awaited move to bring all these cars under one roof with the full GTR3 Car Pack becoming available in the in-game store.

As with all content purchases within RaceRoom, the price of the pack is subject to discounts as you will not be charged for content you already own. The full pack is currently 1999vrp minus any content owner discount.

Alongside making the new GTR3 pack release the studio have also made available a new patch for the game bringing a number of updates, fixes and liveries for several cars within the title. Amongst the highlights of the new patch include new liveries for the GTR3 Mustang and P4/5 Competizione as well as increased grid slots for several tracks in game. Logitech G920 users will be pleased to hear a default profile for the new Logitech wheel has been added to the list of wheel defaults within game and is available to use once the latest firmware and drivers have been installed.

The full Changelog from the latest patch can be read below:

  • Fixed a congestion issue when all AI’s would pit in simultaneously on Nordschleife layout.

I love this game so I really don't want to mock it, but considering I own every one of the cars already, with multiple liveries, bit disappointed the it is still 1124vrp, which is apparently an 87% saving of 7427vrp, meaning the retail is 8551vrp :O which of course is a bit a twisted figure.

Really hope I haven't spent that much on gt3s cars lol but it really doesn't encourage you to buy single cars at all.

I have all the content up until the last pack which was the Taatus F4 and won't be buying anymore until they start adding features like weather, day night transitions and driver swaps. I'm fed up of them milking our pockets for cars and tracks when there are more important features that are missing. Being one of the unfortunate people that didn't benefit from last Xmas's "all content" sale I feel they've had enough money out of me. Therefore I won't be buying any more content, particularly the new packs which are money for old rope revamps of content I already own.

That calculation I would be interested to see :)

:)
if i was to purchase all the available packs in RRE
http://game.raceroom.com/store/packs/
I would need 27604vrp + 1000vrp for The Ring so 30000vrp =$195 us @ raceroom store with its current sale.....but since its being compared to iracing will inflate the price to full lol
10,0000 vrp = $100 x 3 = $300 us
but i wont mention the Black friday sale that had All the content for $49.99 :whistling:

iracing

51 cars 14 are free = 37 avg. price $12......37 x $12= $444 - 30%= $311
58 tracks 9 are free = 47 avg price $15......47 x $15 = $705 - 30% = $494

Total content price at 30% off = $805
Yearly Subscription $49 @ 50% off
Total $854
Yearly cost to play NOT including any new content.
$49 yearly subscription at 50% off
minus $40 if you max out your season participation
So AFTER you have played the game for 1 yr your yearly fee to play iRacing is $9 us if you take advantage of all the deals available.
If you run a league in iracing theres a Yearly league fee of $10 and .50 cents an hr to host
If you where to host a 3hr session 4 times a week for a yr. Like RD does for most of the clubs here, It would $312 + $10 year fee = $322

So i am really struggling to see how RRE is more expensive ?

RRE has become a 'cash cow' for Sector3.
That's nothing new.
Much as I like supporting developers I too, will pass on this...as I did on their version of Nordschleife.
I don't care for their pricing model.
It's too expensive for what you get versus their competitors.
It also doesn't seem to take into consideration price reductions for content already purchased, when they are bundled with 'new' packages.

Don't get me wrong, it's an awesome pack, if you don't already own all the cars, even if you were only missing half or so, but I just would have expected a slightly better discount for those who do already own all the cars.

In saying that though I don't really know why I'm complaining as I'm happy with the skins I've got and don't need any others anyway :roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:
