RaceRoom Racing Experience | New BOP Update Deployed

Sector3 Studios have deployed a new update to their RaceRoom Racing Experience title, adding a few small changes alongside the latest GT3 Balance of Performance within the simulation.

The new build deployed earlier today is certainly mostly esport focussed with the changes to car liveries and the GT3 BOP updates, however it does come with some minor changes and tweaks to the game itself and the new BOP will also be highly appreciated by offline single player racers and multiplayer drivers alike.

The new update is available now and should download the next time you restart your Steam client.

I didn't realize this was a thing. Did they update the Bentley at some point without renaming it? Or am I confused?
I think RR just has it labeled poorly.

Bentley first raced the Continental GT3 in 2014 and then they released a new version in 2018. But that 2018 version was a new model based on a new road car chassis. And I don't remember hearing about any Evo update since then.

So are they balancing each cars performance so no one car runs away with it, does that mean all the ye old GT3 cars are able to keep up with the brand spanking new ones? That always stopped me from playing it, in particular the extremely old BMW alpine car being able to run with the Audi Evo, for example.

I don't think they will ever make BOP for older cars(Z4 power). Much less chance for BOP old and new.

So all the old cars can still keep up with the new ones?
Maybe I didn't write it right - English is not my first language. I meant that the Z4 and 650S are at least a little bit competitive, all the other old cars are not, or almost not.

BOP new cars and old cars won't - almost certainly not. Maybe someday they'll do a proper BOP for the old cars and they'll participate in weekly events as a separate class(like ADAC 2015+old GTR3).

Well I hope they just let the older cars fall behind and not get updates. I certainly don't want cars raced 10 years ago keeping up with new/future cars. That would be a total immersion killer!

Regarding BoP, I don't think the old cars will ever be brought up to the same pace as the newer cars. I mean, doing that would essentially make them "fantasy" cars since the vehicles they were based on when released did not reach that level of performance. One day they could probably do with separating the GTR 3s into different era categories, the same as some of the other classes.
