RaceRoom Racing Experience Licence McLaren 650S GT3

Sector3 Studios have today revealed a new licence acquisition for 'free to play' simulator RaceRoom Racing Experience with the Swedish team securing rights to produce a new virtual McLaren 650S GT3 race car due to grace our digital racetracks.

Boasting a strong field of GT3 class vehicles already in the title, the 2015 specification McLaren 650S is one of the first models of the "new generation" GT3 machines finding its way into the RaceRoom lineup of cars. Featuring a 3.8L V8 Twin Turbo delivering 500 Nm torque to the real wheels the McLaren 650S is a thoroughbred racecar that is bound to make a mark with players of the title.

Hot on the back of the recent WTCC 2015 pack previews and upcoming ADAC GT Masters 2015 pack the guys and girls over at Sector3 have been very busy in recent months securing and producing new content. With a new patch featuring several feature enhancements and releasing for purchase a laserscanned version of the legendary Nordschleife circuit in Germany the next few months could prove to be an interesting time for players of the sim.

Well with the Newer McLaren ( and Bentley GT3), I hope they are looking into bringing the rest of the lastest Spec GT3 racers to the title, The New Merc , Lambo, Ferrari and BMW. I know they take their lead from their partners with the DTM WTCC and ADAC Masters mostly and Raceroom Entertainment controls how its delivered to us. JF confirmed that their base market is Euro especially Germany and that's fine but to really expand the Market and intrest looking further afield over the next year will be VERY important. there is a nice tase of Americian tracks and racing but couple to more and a tiny taste of Australia but we have more than just 1 track here you know ... The new patch sounds great. and look forward to the LMP cars getting sorted.

When is it coming to consoles ?

look on youtube, an interview Inside sim racing guys did with JF.
he says "never say never" and they way he likes to put things is unless someone walks in with bags of money and orders it, it wont happen.. And they way the RR entertainment pay model is I don't think it would work, besides going to console before they change to the new cry engine would be pointless. you wouldn't want a DX9 title on new console.
