Sector3 Studios are set to finally silence the seemingly decades long cries of sim racers to bring the full Grand Prix layout of Brands Hatch the simulation - with the long version of the mega British track having been teased by the studio recently.

Yup, what will the many various forum users around the world have to type about once Sector3 Studios drop the extended version of Brands Hatch to the game? It's been asked for by the sim racing community since pretty much the beginning of time, especially following the recent 2020 update of the current 'Indy' layout of the track, and if the new video from the developers is anything to go by, it looks likely that wait might well be almost over....

Now, let the realization that Brands Hatch Grand Prix is actually quite annoying dawn on everyone once this new version drops, likely to be as part of the promised massive December update next week...

I had a few minutes to play.
Everything is in my library, bought the ID.R and BH, but could play everything, I am sure its a temp glitch. But I did enjoy the VW, the Audi GT4, and Watkins Glen, so I might just have to buy them too.

This glitch actually made me buy the E-Cupra. Heavily surprised by its driving fun at Brands Hatch GP. ^^'

Man the car dynamics on the limit are so much better (IMO) now. I also have the feeling, that it needs more push now, to archieve better laptimes, but you also get more confidence to do so. No matter, if GT3 or avoiding to get killed in a Gr.5 Capri. It really makes a difference.

I had no Time to test so far, what exactly are the physics updates this time?

Turbo update - makes certain turbo cars (like DTM 2020) more manageable under throttle.

Adjustable levels of engine braking - allows reducing the snap oversteer present in some cars (read: Porsches) when cornering off-throttle.

New throttle maps - allows better throttle control in some powerful cars.

Adjustable engine map - allows controlling fuel usage in endurance races.

Tyre model update - v4.1 deployed on many commonly used cars (GT2/GT3/GT4 etc.). Said to include a small update to the calculation of slip ratios. Unclear to me exactly what this does.

In practice, the changes don't feel huge for most naturally-aspirated cars. Some cars that had older tyre models previously (like WTCR18/19) are now greatly improved. All the cars that were good before are still good and it still has that distinct RaceRoom feel.

Well I bought 2000 vRP and insta-bought the scirocco, the glen and bhgp, but I too was totally surprised to find all new content in my garage so I said to my self...self let's test drive these other audi cars b4 they figure it out, first up was the gt2 and after a lap or two was meh it's okay I guess, then the new gt3 and about the same as the gt2.... but then gt4 audi at the glen... 25 laps later and grinning like a kid at Christmas, what a fun car that one is.

Being an Audi fan I bought all the new R8s, the updated tires v4.1 and physics feel better than before but struggling a bit to get a good feel mid corner as it always feels light, like I am understanding. Very similar feel to many of the mid engine GT3s in ACC 2019 tire model.

They all sounded amazing....as expected but my personal favorite was the GT4 version....minus the skin I choose had no sponsors on the driver's gloves.

I've always enjoyed the fwd cars in Raceroom and went to my favorite Audi TT to test the update.
I feel I am gonna need to make a rwd and fwd profile for my wheel as I am not getting the weight transfer feel I did before when switching between fwd and rwd.

Overall a good update

Apparently the decision to make everything playable was to ease the pressure on the servers.
Is this is a new way of dealing with maintenance window, i.e. enabling all content instead of locking out of what you have?
