In the second preview reveal for the WTCR Powered by Oscaro DLC for RaceRoom Racing Experience, we get a look at the wonderful Alfa Romeo Giulietta TCR...

Driven with little success so far in the 2018 WTCR series by touring car legend Fabrizio Giovanardi and former Grand Prix driver Gianni Morbidelli, the Romeo Ferraris team have worked tirelessly to bring more speed and stability to this little but beautiful new TCR car, constantly improving the vehicle over successive race weekends to the point where Giovanardi would find himself in a position to fight for podium places last time out - a long way from the early seasons struggles for this relatively new car and team.

With the increase in performance came a surprise exit for Morbidelli, the 50-year-old Italian replaced in favour of former GP2 driver Kevin Ceccon, the 24-year-old Italian instantly impressing in his touring car debut at Slovakia with three very commendable performances for the little team, ending an impressive weekend with a best result of sixth overall and proving more than a little food for thought for his established teammate.

Very soon RaceRoom Racing Experience players will have their own chance to try their luck in the WTCR with a new DLC in the works that promises to bring all the current cars of the FIA WTCR / Oscaro to the simulation.

As confirmed in the Cupra reveal article yesterday, the new pack will form part of the next big build update, and if the preview images are anything to go by, it doesn't look like it will be too far away from release...

The release was basically leaked by the FIA WTCR themselves. They posted the Cupra images on their FB page yesterday with the hashtag #6daysleft.

(Also, given how many cars there are in WTCR, it just so happens that this fits exactly with preview of one car every day until release...)
