So, I got bored with the default user interface rFactor has to offer. Simple sollution, I build a new one :) Offcourse, it is totally in RD style :)

Download will be available end this week, or early next week I hope. Still have some last fixes to apply, and some screens to adjust. Download shall be posted in the Plugin and Addon section from the modding forum. In this thread, you can discuss the UI, and let me know if you like it or not.

Anyway, an idea of what it will be.

Legal Notice, start up screen rfactor2.

So, what do you guys think. Is this something you would install and use?
It is totally seperate from any other content, so no conflicts using it when playing online, in or outside Racedepartment. It really is just a user interface which has changed.

I know there are some minor errors in the graphics, but I did this all during the 24hr event last night... I wasn't seeing totally clear anymore @ 7:30 this morning, so I might have missed some :p

I will do my best to release the first version somewhere end this week. Might be I hold it back till after the weekend, as I suspect I will be doing some work on it in the weekend.

As it is useable already (tested it online yesterday, and worked flawless), I will definatly release the first version after eastern the latest.

Yet again excellent work Marco.

If you were to put the http part of the RD link in the credits the correct way around (http:// instead of http:\\) will it actually work as a link to here? Would be good if it did.

No, I do not think that it will be "clickable". It's just a txt file which is presented, so I suspect there is no hyperlinking involved. Then I must see if I can make it a kind of button.

Perhaps something for a future release :p First prio is to get all the screens, buttons and characters correctly placed and colored. Then I will see for more extentions.
