i paid for frapps its worth it.... then couldnt find a free movie makerHey guys what's the best free/OS recording program for making movies? I currently use the free version of fraps, but that is limited to 30 second clips which is a massive pain in the arse trying to put together full videos!
Also is there a better (again free) movie maker than WMM? I quite liked the version on Vista but the W7 version is horrible to use...

Martin Leyfield poated this one Use virtualdub (virtualdub.org) for pre editing before youtube editor. ( it works very good )
I think that's because you use 2.1.0 version. Download the latest release 2.2.0 and you'll have the sound recording.I've been trying to get video capture in MSI afterburner to work. I can record gaming action in BC2 but get no sound and can't get any race action captured at all> Baffled!
It works but you'll have to remove the XD plug in.I think I have the 2.20 beta, it's 2.20 at least.
Any reason it doesn't capture video of race07?
