NOTES:
1. For shorter than one hour ("Short" races), no pit stop is required. Since the game (and the actual series) allows tires to run for one hour or longer if managed correctly, tire wear will be set to "2x" so as to encourage pit stops and strategy. Practice accordingly.

2. Due to loss of force feedback on some wheels, starts will be rolling, but the first lap speed is 50mph maximum so drivers may reset their wheels, if necessary. We will then line up in the same order we started and the race will start (drivers may accelerate and pass) when the pole sitter crosses the start/finish line.

3. All League and Race Department Rules apply, with the stewards able to issue penalties even though no protest was filed. Please record your races and make them available via Twitch or YouTube.

4. There will be no breaks in between sessions, so be sure to take your break before qualifying if needed.

I jumped on for 20 minutes this morning just to refresh my memory of the track and seed how it was in these cars. Only got a 2:02 but can see a fair bit of time to come off that with some decent practice over the next fortnight.

What's the kind of time to be aiming for here guys?

I will be on Wed. night for some Nurb. laps. See who goes sub 2 mins. first. The Porsche or the BMW...eh Watts???
I look forward to this track also. As former 2 time Formula 1 World Champion (on the PS3), I have lots of knowledge of where to wreck at.
Should be fun race.

It won't take long teammate. I've been secretly testing...but I'm sure you will lead the pack. (Remember the "get your heads chopped off" clause in our contract that came after the Hungarian goodies?)
2:00.230 (Not an A.I. Driving )

I feel like sub 2's a very possible as I was running 2:01's and 2:00 on an 80L fuel load. Avg Fuel Mileage was 3.46L per lap. So fuel is going to be stretched at 31 laps.

Sorry. Forgot to change. 26 laps. There should be no nervousness about making it to the end. Unless you want to pit for tires that is. :sneaky:

I feel like most of us will be in the high 50s come race day. Remember, you have gotten close or better than the actual qualy time before.

I don't know Robert that 1:55 is strong, and will most likely require Optimum Conditions.
Ah yes 26 laps is much better. I want to say the McLaren or Aston is limited to 100L, and my calculations 31 is near 110L.
