Protests

#1 Stephane Rouault - Jeffrey Rietveld - Lap 1 T1

Protest: Rouault brakes to late, forcing Rietveld to the outside and makes contact with him. Cus of this Rietveld also looses a position.

Review: Rouault locks the brakes into T1 running wide, resulting in contact and position loss for Rietveld.

Verdict: 0.5 penalty points to Stephane Rouault.

#2 Alban Deslie - Cyril Werdmuller - Lap 2 T10

Protest: Deslie opts for inside line into the hairpin, but very dangerously changes his line right before braking, blocking Werdmuller who has nowhere to go, attemps to avoid the contact by going on grass. He hits Deslie nevertheless, suffers damage and loses time.

Review: The line change of Deslie to the inside just before the braking gave the impression that Werdmuller had the inside line empty and could thus brake later. However, Deslie makes a second, illegal, line change at start of braking, returning back to the inside line.

Verdict: 1.0 penalty points to Alban Deslie.

#3 Matteo Vecchioni - Rob van Starkenburg - Lap 11 T1

Protest: Vecchioni outbrakes me with braking very late. He was not besides me before the braking zone. Hes brakes very late and goes true the inside, but he goes off track with all 4 tires and even 1 car length more.
So basically he passed me offtrack and rejoined track in a totally reckless move, when rules are clear about that.

Review: Even though there was no major contact, the overtaking attempt came from too far behind and involved running outside track boundaries. Since this type of late overtaking took place for the second time in two races for Vecchioni, it is reflected in the penalty points.

Verdict: 1.0 penalty points to Matteo Vecchioni.

#4 Martin Gosbee - Matteo Vecchioni - Lap 19 T12

Protest: Gosbee overtakes Vecchioni inside on the big straight. Just before he is passed Vecchioni he weawes towards Vecchioni pushing him onto the grass in the braking zone, loosing a lot of time! An extremly dirty move, very bad driving of Gosbee. This could easyly have caused a bigger crash. Well there is not much to say other than it should be obvious what needs to be done against Gosbee. Thats why we make protest against him!

Review: Gosbee does not give enough room to Vecchioni at the turn-in point, forcing Vecchioni wide costing him time.

Verdict: 1.0 penalty points to Martin Gosbee.

#5 Luka Oslakovic - Peter Duivelaar - Lap 43 T10

Protest: Oslakovic blocks Duivelaar. Duivelaar has to lift and loses chances to overtake.

Review: This move can be classified as a late block as per article 6.2 c), since Duivelaar has his nose alongside and slight contact takes place.

Verdict: 0.5 penalty points and official warning to Luka Oslakovic.

#6 Luka Oslakovic - Peter Duivelaar - Lap 43 T10

Protest: Oslakovic doesn't acknowledge Duivelaar alongside him, and continues his standart racing line, hitting side of Duivelaar and ruining his race.

Review: The corner exit is rather problematic; the curvature of the straight results in the ideal line going from inside (where Oslakovic exits) to the outside of corner. Oslakovic makes no steering move towards Duivelaar, as he simply continues driving straight, following the normal line. Additionally, there is slightly more space left on the outside for Duivelaar to take.

Verdict: Racing incident.

#7 Peter Duivelaar - Jeffrey Rietveld - Lap 45 T3

Protest: Duivelaar exits the pit and blocks Rietveld for the entire 1st sector. Duivelaar says after the race he failed to see the blue flag, but later he is caught suddently saying, there was no flag!! With Duivelaars teammate fighting for the win with Rietveld, we feel this is a planned dirty trick to block Rietveld. Never before in the race have we seen Duivelaar exiting the pit agressively as this. We cannot prove wether this was a team order or not, however there is a possibility of that and it must be investigated as Rietveld lost around a second and the race because of this incident. Yes, rietveld did make other mistakes in the race, but in the end he finished 0.8 after the winner. And if this dirty trick havent been pulled out by Precision Motorsport, then in the end of the race Rietveld would have been close enough to attack on the final laps!

Review: According to article 9.1, backmarkers are obliged to give way to frontrunners at the earliest possibility. In this case, Duivelaar had the option to let Rietveld past earlier a couple of times. However, Rietveld's lap time was only 4 tenths slower than his previous one. According to Duivelaar, he did not see a blue flag, but this does not mitigate the offense.
The director does not agree with the part stating that possibly team orders took place. The pit stop of Duivelaar happened spontaneously due to damage repairs, and therefore there was no way for Duivelaar or his team to know exactly behind which car he would rejoin the track.

Verdict: 0.5 penalty points to Peter Duivelaar and an offical warning, should something similar occur in the future.

#8 Philipp Puschke - Lap 53 T1

Protest: Puschke makes a pit exit white line cut

Review: This protest is redundant, since pit exit cuts are already checked, as per routine procedures.

Verdict: N/A
