Incidents

Before going straight to the incidents verdicts take into account that there has been some rule changes this year regarding the penalty system and it may seem that penalties are harsher than previous years.

This year with the introduction of the Safety Rating value every driver gets 0.25 SR for a clean race (2 Races per Weekend).
That means that if a driver has a penalty of 1.5 penalty points he will be able to recover those penalty points doing 6 clean races (3 Race Weekends) while the previous years the driver had to do 5 consecutive clean races (5 Weekends) in order to “erase” his penalty points.

Incident #1
Driver(s) Involved Jiri Toman, Muhammed Patel
Lap/Replay Time Race 1 - Lap 5 - 0:18
Protest Description Jiri is on the inside of Patel. Patel doesn´t give enough space on the inside and forces Jiri to go over the curb and astroturf resulting in him losing control and hitting Patel and then spinning into the wall losing his front wing.
Verdict

7.1
The car on the inside line has right of way in a bend as long as they are under control, all situations
will be judged on their own merits. When going two-wide through a bend, both drivers must give the
other driver room for (a) their car (b) warping (connection lag) and (c) margin of error.

Patel does leave room for Toman's car, but no margin for lag or error. Toman loses control of car and collides with the wall. -1.00 PP for Patel.

Incident #2
Driver(s) Involved Michi Hoyer, Marek Godek
Lap/Replay Time Race 2 Lap 10 00:05 min
Protest Description Hoyer and Godek fight for position. Hoyer goes a bit wide tries to make the apex for turn 2. Godek goes wide and returns track in a sudden way. He steers his car into Hoyers, whos race was over at this point.
Verdict

7.1
The car on the inside line has right of way in a bend as long as they are under control, all situations
will be judged on their own merits. When going two-wide through a bend, both drivers must give the
other driver room for (a) their car (b) warping (connection lag) and (c) margin of error. In reality, this
means that each driver must give the other driver a fair and sporting amount of space. So squeezing
the other driver wide is not allowed.

Hoyer takes T2 wide, pushing Godek wide off the track. Official Warning to Hoyer because he took the turn wide, but Godek may have been able to slot in behind.

8.2
Cars re-joining the track or recovering from a spin must check if the track is clear. Recovering cars
must give way to cars already on track.

-1.00 PP to Godek for coming back on the circuit without giving right of way to cars on track. There was no attempt to try to turn to be off the racing line when Hoyer was approaching.

Incident #3
Driver(s) Involved Carlos Martin
Lap/Replay Time ACE Race 1&2
Protest Description Breaking rule 3.5 - 3.7 Competing in a series below a driver's primary series and/or competing in more than 3 races in a series above their primary series.
Verdict

3.5 No driver may compete in more than three races in a series above their primary series.
3.6 No driver may compete in a series below their primary series.
3.7 Failure to comply with above rules will lead to penalties imposed by the Ace/Pro Director, including
disqualification and limiting participation rights

Martin Disqualified in ACE Races 1 & 2 for participation in World Championship. Driver Allocated in WC before ACE, furthermore, Martin Allocated as 'Not Participating' for ACE. This signalled, to me, that he changed his primary series to WC before the weekend and well before he changed his ACE allocation to 'Driver Participating'.

Incident #4
Drivers Involved: Giordano Valeriano, Carlos Martin, Chris de Jong
Lap/Replay Time: Lap 1, Turn 5 and 6 (Gilles Villeneuve)
Protest Description: Valeriano and Carlos are side by side between corners 5 and 6, Valeriano brakes late to cover the position and hits de Jong causing him diffusor damage. After that he spins into Martín and several positions were lost.
Verdict: Valeriano makes light contact with car ahead, spins, and consequently hits the car of Martin, resulting in spin for Martin. -1.00 PP for Valeriano, incident could have been avoided with earlier braking.

Incident #5
Drivers Involved: Luca Desi, Chris de Jong
Lap/Replay Time: Race 2 lap 1 0:48 seconds
Protest Description: Sector 1 Desi divebombs de Jong and has to take avoiding action creating the accidents that happened.
Verdict: No penalty. Desi makes it to the apex of the corner and there was (barely) enough margin for both cars to pass the corner alongside. Desi's nose is alongside De Jong's car before the turn-in point begins (compare WC Sepang De Wit incident).

Ofc desi makes it to the corner since he dives me.
When you brake and carry speed for the apex it is physicly impossible to make the corner thats why i had to take avoiding action.
If i did try to make the corner i would have come on the grass and collected the lot and carnage would have arrived.
You also point out that there is a similarity to the "incident" with de Wit in sepang and this one, I dont know how you can compare two different corner with eachother and if you are a reasonably car lenght behind someone before the corner villenueve you would know there is no room to overtake unless you want to force somebody of the track.
This is clearly an example if immature driving from Desi and immature decision making from Kobb's part and i strongly advice you to put yourself into the drivers point of view for booth parties. To me it sounds like you did not even take a look on any replay to come to this conclusion. He forced me of the track by trying to overtake at a place where it was simply not possible at that moment with the position of us on the track and yet he gets praised for this. I would like some clarification behind your thought processes behind this in my opinion poor judgement in order to have progress for booth.
