Ron, I don't think that this penalty came because of the cut, but because you had cut the pit exit 7 times and obviously repeat offence needs to be dealt with in a more harsh manner..

Besides, even touching the pit exit line is considered as a cut. So this evidence (thanks for sharing) clearly shows that you did indeed cut.
