Protests
#1 Luka Oslakovic - Alban Deslie - Lap 1 T3
Protest: Going into the second chicane Luka and Alban touch causing Alban to slam into the wall and sustain bad damage to the car (Mainly to the engine).
Review: Oslakovic remains with his front wing alongside Deslie through Curva Grande. Oslakovic chooses the inside line, which he has right to, but the cars make contact in the middle of braking.
Oslakovic is on the outside edge of the track and cannot move much further to the right side. Deslie has the whole track empty on his left side, which he could have used, instead of squeezing the gap between him and Oslakovic.
Verdict: Official warning to Deslie for causing an avoidable incident.
#2 Fabrizio Gobbi - Yannick Lapchin - Laps 43,44,48
Protest: Lapchin wants the driving choices made by Gobbi to be looked at in respect to driving line/blocking which resulted in some unfortunate circumstances for Lapchin during the 3 laps mentioned.
Review: Lapchin and Gobbi approach T1 with Gobbi on the inside on laps 43, 44. The cars approach apex 1 alongside, but Lapchin runs out of space for apex 2, having to yield on both laps. The director sees the incidents more as a result of the narrow corner as opposed to a purposeful block; plenty of similar situations occured in the WC series. On lap 48 the replay shows no contact between the two cars, as Lapchin is 3 seconds ahead of Gobbi.
Verdict: Nothing this time
