Before going straight to the incidents verdicts take into account that there has been some rule changes this year regarding the penalty system and it may seem that penalties are harsher than previous years.

This year with the introduction of the Safety Rating value every driver gets 0.50 SR for a clean race.
That means that if a driver has a penalty of 1.5 penalty points he will be able to recover those penalty points doing 3 clean races (0.50 SR+0.50 SR+0.50 SR) while the previous years the driver had to do 5 consecutive clean races in order to “erase” his penalty points.

Incident #1

Driver(s) Involved: James Sadler, Erik Leida, Jose Dominguez.

Lap/Replay Time: Lap 1, 0:10

Review: Heading into T1 Jose Dominguez brakes late and hits Sadler and his teammate. Sadler would had to pit due the high damage of his car.

Verdict: 1.5 Pointsfor Jose Dominguez.

Incident #2

Driver(s) Involved: Tuomas Koriala, Victor Ivanov

Lap/Replay Time: Lap 1, 0:12

Review: Both parties are approaching turn 1, and Koriala turns into Ivanov, causing several car contacts and some car damage in the NX and OSR car.

Verdict: 0.7 Penalty Points for Tuomas Koriala.

Incident #3

Driver(s) Involved: Mikko Suokas, Victor Ivanov

Lap/Replay Time: Lap 1, 0:41

Review: Victor Ivanov pushes Mikko Suokas out of the track due a spin cause by Koriala. Ivanov doesn't give any chance to Mikko to return cleanly to the track and both parties made contact.

Verdict: Racing Incident, both drivers could do more to avoid the incident, Ivanov pushed Suokas out of the track and later on he tries to go back to the track with a light contact.

Incident #4

Driver(s) Involved: Dmitry Zaharov, Georg Winter

Lap/Replay Time: Lap 25, 0:30

Review: Dmitry Zaharov is on Georg Winter slipstream, suddenly Georg loses ground speed and Zaharov goes off-track to avoid the collision. The way Zaharov approaches so fast to Winter suggests that could be a lag moment (Note that even he isnt throttleling 100%, that maybe caused by lag).

Verdict: Nothing, lag issues.

The following drivers didn't use the LC: Jose Dominguez, Eric Leida, Jordi San Andres Salvador and Gergor Vodicar.

I remind you LC is MANDATORY and not using it will take you an official warning.

For being first race I won't count it, but following ones, yes.

exactly. I had a freeze like many other drivers. It looked like slow-mo for a few seconds. I just gone straight out of corner. Had no control for this 2sec. Sorry mate!

Well done stewards but I think 0.7 points for causing a carnage at T1 and late at T4 is not enough. People should be more careful. I hope you have less work for Malaysia. Good luck. :)

The hell?! I sent both files, PQ and Race file and sent my replays via email!!

I highly suggest its checked again because I know 100% I sent both logs.

You pushed Mikko in Incident #3 and in Incident #2, Koriala has very few chance to see you coming, firstly because you dive-bomb, taking a huge risk. While you are braking its very difficult to keep the eyes on the mirror and specially when a car comes from the back that you don't expect.

Sorry but I was right behind my teammate and I wasn't "dive bombing" at all. I was almost stopped when I was on the apex and he turned into me. Also I can't protest against him for T4 cause I wasn't there. I totally agree with you about me and Mikko and I said what I think about Koriala's penalty. No more comments. Gool luck next time cause this will happen again.
