Race #09, Belgium: Race Briefing

Why would most off the guys be offline by now, normally the race would have start like 7 minutes ago. If there is a problem with pitboxes ore whatever. The problems mide be very small. There is still plenty of time to race now. xd

Because some of them asked on the server (and also privately to me) and they are out now due to the decision of canceling the race.

i dont think they are offline, because this is the time that we already race another days, so whats so big problem? only 1-2 guys will not participate... the rest i think they are here

But calling the race cancelled, then 1 hour saying it's on again is slightly unfair for many who have gone off, there needs to be a set amount of time for people to know about the race.

For me it would be very unfair to run the race now, knowing that some people already quitted because it was said that the race was cancelled.

Yes thats the point. Some leave and do other things once they think there's not going to be race. This is because they have something called a LIFE . Seriously guys if something is cancelled not everyone hangs around for ages afterwards. They might have other stuff they want to start being on with and barring us having all their telephone numbers, we cannot contact them all.

Not everyone will be able to race on Sundays. So thats not an option. You'll have more available on the Saturday next week at the same time as normal than the Sunday this week, can guarantee it.

Let's just find a place in the calendar and then do the race today would be unfair for people who already left to do other things and yeah maybe next week at least it has one good thing in it. We can practice a bit more ... I will never crack the 47-48 but at least we can practice

WC is 2 hours earlier than last year, and we have always 2 grids now. No way.

There simply does not exist a time that would fit in everyones schedule from the people that allocated for this race, period. So simply there is not going to be a "perfect" solution in a postponement.

I postponed the race, it's not my problem if you are still here waiting for a solution. It was officially cancelled.
