The purpose of this thread is to help newcomers to the Race 07 series that want to get involved in our Club racing. It will provide a link to each expansions content list on RaceRoom and state how often that content is used in our events.
Please note that it's worth checking the prices on Steam. They are often slightly lower than on RaceRoom and they also have occasional deals and bundles which can save you cash.
Race 07
This is the base game of the series onto which everything else is bolted. The Mini Cooper class is used every Friday and the other support classes rotate with mod content on Saturdays. The tracks are also used frequently.
GTR Evolution
The GT classes are currently rotate with other classes on Mondays, and WTCC Extreme may appear occasionally on Saturdays. The tracks are not used often though Nürburgring Nordschleife is sometimes used for special events.
Race On
None of the classes from this pack are run regularly. The US tracks are used occasionally.
STCC: The Game 2
This expansion is a must for anyone wanting to race touring cars in the club as we use the STCC 2010 class on Wednesdays and Sunday mornings.
WTCC 2010
The WTCC 2010 class is not used in our Club and the few unique tracks are used rarely. You really don't need this one for Club racing.
GT Power
With just three cars and two tracks, this expansion's content is rarely used in our Club.
Retro
The Retro pack is rotated with other classes on Mondays.
Formula RaceRoom
Not used often, but it's free so there really isn't a reason not to get this expansion.
Crowne Plaza
As above, not used often but it's free so get it anyway.
Race Injection
This is NOT an expansion. It is a standalone game that has nothing new and just bundles the content of some (NOT all) previous expansions together. While this could be an option for those that do not already own any of the Race 07 series, buying it alone could mean that you will be missing some of the content required for our Club racing.
