RACE 07: GT´s, Touring Cars and Classics

In week 32 we will concentrate mostly on classic European tracks but also will jump to Asia for one event in our racing club.

On Tuesday we take on Anderstorp. And what would better suit our racing club starting a week than GT club cars?

The rather short ex-F1 circuit offers some tight corners but also provides lots of possibilities to pass and make your way up front in one of the best balanced categories of cars which combine speed and handling.

Fans of touring car battles will happily join in on Thursday when the STCC2 pack is given the get-go for the Algarve Circuit which comes with the WTCC '10 addon. Once known as Portimao, this racetrack has many sweeping turns tightening and opening over crests and some fast straights with hard braking. Track and cars stick so well together you wouldn't want to miss out on this battle!

Our regular "Mini Friday" will hop over to Japan this week to continue our walk round the world continents. You think these cars lack some power? Then you will be surprised how swift they fly around certain tracks. And Okayama matches these cars so well. So why don't you come by and find out how close racing is on Mini Fridays? The forgiving cars will help you to recover from any mistakes you do in this 80 minutes endurance event (pitstops included).

We conclude this week on Saturday back in Europe in sunny Italy running Retro Max in Monza. It's rather hot almost everywhere over Europe these days, but you will need to keep cool as you will encounter some serious drifting and close fights for every position on track.
