Protest Description: On lap35, replay time 54:56, Ben Phillips changes to the inside line to defend from Jim Parisis very late. Jim had to brake to avoid the incident. We wish that Ben makes his defensive moves earlier in future situations to avoid any incidents.

Review: Parisis is following Phillips on the backstraight heading for T12. Parisis wants to attempt a pass on the inside, however when he starts to move over, Phillips moves at the exact same time. Parisis doesn't react to this in time (move to the outside) and instead backs off from the manouver. There was still a car length between the two cars when they started to move across the track.

Verdict: Racing Incident.
